The game is way faster than it was even 3 months ago and that’s good I think I can speak for most of us that is better than release, and better than D1 in certain ways BUT just one more thing....
Speed up the animation time to deploy these and/or make them Double Tap crouch button like the Dodge ability to help with this.
Edit to original post ....
!
!!!An exotic could give a faster animation as to not make it totally OP and take exotic space it would be nice if it were tacked on top of Aeon Cultists armors as well as some more Dodge Distance for Hunters this way you can’t complain all the way and as stated before takes up an Exotic space requiring a strategy built around the armor as opposed to being there permanently!!!!

48 RepliesProbably the most moronic thing i've seen all day.
-
32 RepliesNope. They’re meant to be placed proactively, not reactively. Hunters are the only ones that should have a reactive ability, since they’re the most “agile” ones.
-
No. They're not panic buttons. Plan them. If you're losing a fight they aren't there to win it for you.
-
1 ReplyThought I was the only one who wanted this
-
Agreed. This isn’t a problem due to 60 FPS on Pc when sliding and activating the animation.
-
10 RepliesAdd Phoenix Dive to that list so it's not simply "Suicide Dive."
-
9 RepliesAwwwww poor warlocks and titans. Why not just give you more 1 shot abilities to make up for it.
-
5 RepliesScrew that edit. Make the animations just as fast as the dodge.
-
A very small speed increase would be fine but you need to stop comparing proactive abilities to dodge, which is reactive. Dodge is instantaneous and is instantly finished. Barricade and Rift are placed in anticipation and last for the duration of a gunfight. If your argument for Warlock and Titan abilities to be faster is comparing them to dodge then you need to stop playing those classes as if it were a hunter. That’s why we have different classes. I swear people don’t understand very simple truths. The reason Hunters don’t have OP grenades and melee is because they have by far the best neutral game, as such they don’t have OHK abilities meaning that they reward more skill. So they appear OP to non-hunter players. The hunters complaining that their class is weak simply aren’t good enough. Titans have OHK and powerful grenades so the appear powerful or OP when fighting them but actually have very limited potential because their neutral game is poor. Warlocks sit somewhere in the middle. My point is that if you’re complaining about your class, you’re probably using the wrong class for your skill level. Hopefully people don’t translate this into “hunters think they have the most skill etc”. That’s not what I am saying. I simply mean that a better neutral game means hunters have the highest skill ceiling meaning a highly skilled player will benefit most from using the hunter class in PvP. This is also why people are bored of hunters saying “we don’t have OHK melee or grenade” as an argument whenever anyone vocalises frustration at hunters in PvP. Hunters should not get crutches because that would make them OP which is what I assumed the reason for Hunters never having a shut-down super. Until blade barrage, which does feel OP.

The problem is that they are both considered “temporary permanent” structures that require building permits. Unless you grease the right hands that sh!t could take weeks. ;) Unfortunately pvp and pve are not completely separate entities. Until then :( Love the exotic idea.
-
Lmao just put it up earlier then. :^)
-
8 Repliesonly if hunter dodges will actually avoid stuff
-
Or.... Make Crest of Alfa Lupi speed up the animation for rally barricade because Crest is pointless in it's current state.
-
I was killed every time I tried to use one of these last night
-
Yes please! With the current pace of the game, I think this is necessary.
-
Hunter main here and that sounds awsome!!
-
Bump If someone simply throw a pulse granade under your feet while you are activating your ability you are dead
-
1 ReplyWell sure, then they should improve tether also...it takes forever to stop a super or not get shot right after tether is deployed
-
Agreed
-
I get what you're saying, but I think they do it to keep them from being "panic" life savers. I think they intend them to be more strategic decisions. A slight bump might be doable since TTK is down, but it's a very thin line.

3 RepliesOh christ almighty , yes. I die too much to my animation.
-
3 RepliesSpeed all animations and all should be done by double tapping.
-
1 ReplyI totally agree to this, sometimes I hate how slow the lace becomes whenever I have to use a rift. Animations really should be faster at this point
-
3 RepliesMap them to something instant while they're at it. Phoenix Dive, rifts, and barricades are all drastically hindered by having to hold a button instead of just pressing one. Right Stick Click is currently useless for an example.
-
An exotic that let's you place rift while moving would be awesome. The thing takes an eternity to place.

No thanks
