How do you get the duke mk 44?
I've played for atleast 30 hours and can't find the gun for the love of me.

1 ReplyI didn't get my first duke to drop until last week. I easily put in many more hours than 30 in the first few weeks since forsaken came out. Drop rates are garbage on never acquired weapons. Now that I've gotten one though, I've gotten about 4 more. Because of course.

got about 3, Random drops shyte perks. got rampage and triple tap on one. would prefer outlaw rampage i have one with OS and Kill Clip. also kaka great hand cannon but needs the perks to make it moisty

Got 2 from ranking up the gunsmith last night.

Try farming the "Enemy moving against each other" event in Trostland in the EDZ - I've gotten a few from that event, the yellow-bars during the later waves have a decent drop rate.

2 Repliesits a pretty common world drop from many sources - check it out in the collections - it'll say where is can be obtained from... like everything in the collections.

It's a random world drop but you can also get it from the Gunsmith, plus, 30 hours is not a lot of time.

3 RepliesCompletely random. Duke drops for me almost as frequently as Edge Transit. It's not a bad HC, but Ten Paces with Rampage and Slideshot is my go to.(hoping for one with Rampage and Explosive or Firefly in the future)

7 RepliesThat's also my question! I've been grinding Destiny 2 since Forsaken released and i got 0 Duke Mk. 44. I love Handcannons and i don't know why this exact weapon is one i want the most and is one of the last weapons i don't have in my collection. I think i played smth like 100 hours since Forsaken dropped - for several weeks in the afternoon and also at night. That whole time I played with a friend. He got the duke like 20 times until now. One time he got 3 Duke's back-to-back and he doesn't even like it. That is not logical for me at all. If it's random than how the hell can you get 3 exact same weapons after another. last week i got 5 exact same arms out of engrams. it feel's a bit off and strange to me when i compare my results with my friends. it is just frustrating. One person get's 20 and the other 0. i get that it is a bit random and good for diversity. but 20 to 0 for the exact same levels and time played, that's ridiculous in my opinion. If i played like two evenings, i would keep my mouth shut, but after 4 weeks of grinding. c'mon. thats insane. Finally, i am roughly Light 550 with EVERY character and the Duke Mk 44 didn't drop once. RIP

It's a random drop. You're gonna just have to keep playing until you get one.
