Setting looks interesting, but from a gameplay perspective it does look rather boring. Too much realism.

Yea it's boring. If you take the time to really sit there and get into it it isn't that bad
-
I stopped playing because I couldn't progress in a quest cuz of bugs. I was thinking of coming back but my friend told me the ending is shit so I'm not gonna
-
No, but it definitely takes a while to get going. The idea of playing as some dreg that can't fight or read at the start of the game was fun. It's a good game.
-
Some people enjoy realism. You have to admit that it's a change of pace for a medieval RPG to NOT include magic or supernatural entities.
-
I stopped playing, because you need a potion to save and that is stupid. With my life schedule, I could save and quit at least 100 times in just one town alone.
-
I've seen gameplay of it and yeah, it's just not my kind of game.
-
The game has a lot of bugs, and by the end I still didn't feel like I was any good a sword fights (got pretty good at using bows, though), and despite all that, I really liked it. I liked just wandering around the world, admiring the scenery.

The DovahkI Don't Need Luck. I Have Ammo. - old
I liked it a lot. It really isn't as complex as people make it out to be. -
I don't think you would like it if all the realism is a turn off. Being realistic is the whole thing for that game.

For me it was the fighting mechanics they weren’t as responsive as I would like I thought it was just my controller so I bought a new one same thing low and behold couple days later they put out a patch to make it more responsive but still wasn’t right I just ended up poking people to death cause I could barely swing a sword
-
It’s pretty much all realism so I would stay away if that’s not your cup of tea

Edited by Calliibrations: 10/5/2018 8:24:10 AMI tried it at launch and was actually kind of intrigued by the setting, ended up giving up on it after finding the combat system impossible to get on with. Actually a lot of the game systems were just overly complex and frustrating to deal with overall.

I'm in the same boat as you and I usually like medieval type games.
