Yeah.. As of Forsaken i have noticed a lot of good things, but many horrible things as well.
Great job updating the graphics engine, its very pretty. The Weapon and Armor changes are nice too.
But.. These new activities.. Are plain confusing. There are no signs of what to do anywhere, in the Dreaming City especially.
Year 1, at least there was some hints in everything, from strikes, to the smallest free-roam side activity.
Year 2, you leave nothing that even comes close to making sense. This is not okay.
Not everyone is a hardcore gamer that wants to spend days on YouTube hoping to figure out what to do or where even.
There is a such thing as a casual gamer. People who want to relax at the end of the day, and just have some fun, while getting some progress on a game we enjoy. Not run around confused to a point we just quit and find something less complicated to do like play Warframe. At least they tell you what you have to do even if its a grind. Please add some kind of in-game hints, a quest do these things, with markers, something.
And holding out the best stuff for only those who have no life and can do 13+ raids is also way uncool.
Leviathan was bad enough taking up to 4 hours to complete, if for no other reason than it's bugged out (Dogs Encounter). Get your act together Bungie. Seriously. How can you go from Marathon, and Halo to this trash?
And that's just the beginning of what's wrong with D2 these days.
Now.. half of the quests involve playing PvP (crucible), which for many of us is not an option. We dont enjoy PvP, this is not Overwatch, PUBG, Fortnite, or CSGO, stop making it feel like it.
You have officially screwed all of us PvE only players out of most of the good stuff in Forsaken by forcing PvP on us who DO NOT like it. Many people really liked Halo, and want more good PvE things, things even Single-Players can complete.
Forcing people to HAVE to have a group is also not cool. Learn to scale difficulty to the number of players participating please. Even Borderlands did that, so even by yourself you can get things done.
I was a major clan leader until Year 2, and saw how badly you guys messed up this game. I have reduced my gameplay to less than an hour a week because me and our clan of 100.. all agree you have destroyed Destiny 2 for casual gaming. All you guys have now is a bunch of confusion of what to even do, and forcing people to go into that cheater filled, cheezy, try-hard zone you call the Crucible.
Please provide alternatives for PvE players to get good things too. Ways for us to get the same things you would in the Crucible WITHOUT PvP. PvE Quests/Errands from Shaxx with Crucible rewards, something. I mean come on... Again not cool.
Hopefully you read this Bungie, cause a lot of us are very angry and have effectively quit playing D2 thanks to this direction you have gone. You lost a lot with year 1 of D2, and you are going to keep loosing players if you stay on this "Elitist/Competitive only" way of thinking. Us casual players, don't like to come home from work and just become frustrated at a game we used to be able to enjoy, but you ruined it for us with too much PvP, and massive confusing PvE things. We like to play our games not watch Youtube for days to figure out how to even do anything. We'd rather just go play Warframe or anything that simply lets us play and have fun.

4 RepliesMarathon was a hardcore game and so was halo theres a big difference between casual and outright incompetent. Is it really that hard to look around and test stuff for 10 mins?
