Fact still stands. People had to wait til RoI, to get Gally....which guess what....was a quest reward.
Helped a guy get fatebringer week 3 of D2.
I'm not saying that there isn't a problem....I'm pointing out ppl.... literally waited 3 yrs to even get a full game. Much less some of the exotics.
That is a fact.

Edited by Maddrox: 10/4/2018 6:18:22 AMFact , ROI there was no point in getting Gally it was gutted prior ( was mostly a novelty ) .. People had 2 chances to buy it from Xur when it was good. If you missed those chances then fine shit happens but most people had it , also Gally was actually exotic ( not like the crap in game now ) If you ran vog 20hrs or more a week you would likely have gotten Fatebringer in a month in Forsaken you spend 50+ hours every week for a month and your lucky to see an exotic period.

Not debating the usefulness of the exotic.... Telling me or anyone else tough shit they didn't get it....is exactly what I'm saying now..... As far as Fatebringer drop, it was the most sought after weapon in D1 and since a small % of ppl completed the Raids in general, that the majority never had it.

We'll be seeing the same thing with " one thousand voices " being even more rare than Fatebringer since most casuals don't raid But your comparing fatebringer " a raid exotic " to the normal forsaken world exotic drops .. doesn't make sense since the amount of people playing world activities is much larger and they're still getting no forsaken drops. There were more gjallarhorns bought / dropped / owned a month into TTK than there were any forsaken exotic a month into Forsaken. Which is what people are pointing out because the drop rate is hot garbage. Also this isn't D1 , Games aren't supposed to evolve backwards , learn from mistakes - improve - release a better game. v2 should always be an improvement not a relapse into failed state.

Edited by Shatterday: 10/4/2018 6:53:38 AMThe thing is....you can make argument for both sides. The game is better now, the game isn't better now. It's all about perception. The constant bickering of the games core mechanic...RNG...is tiresome. The point still stands. People waited 3 years to get shit in D1. I've gotten 3 new exotics already. I see them everyday in the Crucible as well. Literally just ran around patrol with a warlock wearing the new chest piece. You see what's cool about that? 3 exotics within the 1st month....there is no problem on my end...working as intended it seems to me ( even though it's not, I along with Bungie, acknowledge that the drop rates are to rare ) - but the point is that it's not a problem for everyone. It's RNG, which means not everyone is equal. I can get all exotics, you can get 0. It may take you a year or 2 to get them all. That is the point. They've already addressed the drop rate. Coming here to bicker about it daily is childish. You a child? Okay, that's great...so then you may need some help understanding the situation. No problem...
