PVP Nightstalker build, amazing synergy

Hey everyone, I wanted to talk to you about this insane PVP nightstalker build i’ve been using since even before the forsaken DLC. If you like flanking and playing as a lone wolf. This build might be something for you. I figured, since some hunters feel left out when it comes to cool new exotics, I will share my very own god tier nightstalker build for you to try out. I hope you like it. <><><><><><><><><><><><> Ok, so here are the specs: Subclass: Nightstalker, way of the trapper Gamblers dodge Grenade: voidwall or vortex Triple jump Exotic armor piece: frostees Other gear: class regen mods Kinetic weapon: any primary you like Special weapon: telesto (is the besto) Heavy weapon: quickfang (or any sword you like) <><><><><><><><><><><><> Swords in PVP?!? Yes, swords in pvp. It is an important factor in this build. Dont forget that swords are just as effective as shoulder charges when you use them right. And with using them right, I mean in this build using them in combination with your infinite invisibility. Thats right! infinite invisibility. Frostees recharge all cooldowns faster and is most noticable when looking at your class ability recharge rate. Especially when you have put on some class mods. Dodging makes you invisible and the frostees make your class ability recharge faster than your invisibility wears off. Dodging near enemies also give you your smokebomb back which is a great tool for leading enemies astray and winning gunfights due to that extra bit of damage and disorientation to the enemy. <><><><><><><><><><><><> The two keywords to this build are: stealth & misdirection Here are some scenarios for you: The map is endless vale. Control. Ability spam aka Fr0st33s At the beginning, I help my teammates capture zone A to half. I start with a dodge (invis) and rush through the middle corridor to the enemy side. All enemies are coming too, but I am at their end first and they have no idea Im there. Invisibility ends. I come in high, throw a smoke bomb followed up by a vortex grenade. The enemies are desorientated; cant get a clear shot. I dodge backwards, recharge my smokebomb and throw it again. First kill, (sometimes more) I run and hide like the stealthy sweaty I am, recharging my dodge for the next invis attack. In the mean time my team has captured B as well due to the fact I locked the enemy down. Flanking I whip out my telesto and start hunting for enemies, always starting encounters while invisible and from the flank if possible. Flanking is key. Make sure you walk alone because friendlies will blow your cover on the radar. Use them too as misdirection just as you would use your smokebombs. Smokebombs The smokebombs lure enemies (the wrong way) and have the advantage that they detonate by proximity so you are not stuck in an animation and can shoot down anyone trapped inside. Try throwing a smokebomb to the right when attacking from the left, making enemies point their weapons the wrong way. Swords Swords are awesome! Invis flanking with a sword is extremely effective. Easiest kills you’ll ever make. A group of six guardians, all teamshooting in the same direction. (Because too much faith in radar). I flank’em, while staying for as long as possible outside the line of sight and take most of them out. The survivors start noticing, panicking, jumping away and trying to shoot me. I dodge, gain my invis and receive a sprint boost. So long suckers!! My teammates pick the rest of the disorienties off. Try not to be too greedy with your sword kills. Go for loners mostly and when you encounter bigger groups, its okay if you dont kill them all if that means you’ll stay alive. I can proudly say that I even killed a voidblade hunter with my sword while he was in his super by making use of the en garde perk. Telesto Is the besto. Period. Not only is it a great fusion rifle that works wonders on any distance. It also lays proximity mines, making it an ideal weapon for a true trappers. Are you getting shouldercharged by a mad titan one too many times? Step 1:Bait him with a smokebomb Step 2: Shoot the smokebomb with your telesto Step 3: Laugh hysterically as he charges over it. This strategy also works amazing when fending off enemies in their super. Though it then needs 3 telesto shots instead of 1. Super Try using it also from invisibility, surprising enemies or use it defensive. I dont have much to add about this and I think I have said enough. This build is more focussed on the neutral game than anything.
If you read all the way through, congratulations! I didnt expect to write this size of an post when I started this, but well, here it is. As you have read, this build has the most amazing synergy. Like a true hunter! stealthy and cunning. I really hope you like it and if anyone would read this at all an upvote would be appreciated. Thanks guys!
