I've played this game 12 or more hours a day since Forsaken, and have nearly maxed out characters. My friends I play with have gotten new exotics for almost every class, especially the ones I want most. Every engram I turn in? Edge Transit. Energy Weapons. All my dailies and weeklies do the same. I've cleared Last Wish 5 times and do every powerful gear milestone that comes out.
The most painful part is I find exotics almost everyday, and every single time it's a -blam!-ing Crimson, Wardcliff, or Graviton. Never once something new
What is wrong with this game
EDIT: to all the neckbeards that miss the point of things completely and are like "you're not 599 on three characters" chill out. I had some blue guns on my Titan because I was cleaning out my vault and had to reequip things. Not that it literally matters at all, but for the factcheckers out there, they should all now be showing at 599 or 600. Was just using my light as a time reference but thanks for the input.
Also, did another full round of milestones and raid clear with no exotics but what did I really expect 😂

Don’t count on a new exotic to drop until the update my guy. People who don’t play that much will get the most new exotics until then
-
2 RepliesTry playing with fireteam medallions more. I use em all day and its wonderful
-
2 RepliesI’m 590 and the only new exotic I have is One Thousand Voices but it kind of makes up for it I guess.
-
That sucks. I’m hardly drowning in new random drop exotics but I’ve at least had a couple of armour pieces to put in the vault and forget about.
-
2 RepliesIdk bro, have you tried playing 24 hours a day? Maybe that will work.
-
1 ReplyIt's because you didn't drank Doritos.
-
1 ReplyIf you read the weekly notes from bungie you would see they are going to address this problem. It does suck getting the same year 1 exotics over and over again. Seems like the drop rate for 1000 voices is less than 5%. Brutal.
-
1 ReplyWOW!!!!!.....That's just crazy I'm 545 on my Titan and I've got 1 old repeat exotic and one new one....The Two Tailed Fox I'm 534 on my Hunter and I got 1 old repeat exotic and one new one....I don't know what it's called....It's a chest piece that gives me double knives. Man that sucks for you
-
3 RepliesUm actually, after looking at your characters, you only have 599 light on TWO characters. Might want to grind on that Titan for another 30 minutes. However, I can understand how you mistook 567 for 599, those numbers look exactly the same.

1 ReplyI have maybe 100 or so hours in Forsaken. I have LoW, Queenbreaker, 2 Chaperone drops, AoS and 5-6 Y1 exotics have dropped. So really only QB has dropped for me. 12 hours per day? Dang man! You should try to vary things a bit that can’t be healthy..
-
Engram exploit ?
-
1 ReplyExotics are yellow, kinda like the sun. So maybe if you go outside and see the sun, you’ll see an exotic?
-
4 RepliesIs it possible you play too much? Not saying that is a bad thing, but I am convinced there is some sort of behind the scenes progression limiter. Doesn't matter how much you play, Bungie doesn't want you having everything because you can play more. Make sense? Clear example of this is how if you don't play for a day, you get your bright engram awfully fast. The next one could take days or more than 12 hours. I know Bungie got called out on it before but I still feel they hold back rewards on purpose.
-
And here’s me, plays about 5 or more hours a day. All characters about 542 and I’ve gotten Ace of spades, Chaperone, Geomag Stabilizers and Two tailed fox
-
It would be nice if drops were guaranteed year two gear. Xur won't sell them and the loot pool is even more inflated due to the ridiculous idea of adding quest exotics once earned. The drop rate is fine, but the pool is too large now. In D1 exotic engrams we're linked to armour/weapon slot which at least shrunk it somewhat by the time we got the end of that games cycle. The generic engram we currently have really doesn't help this.
-
1 ReplyYou aren't worthy. Seriously though, RNG sucks. It will reward people with low play time and screw over people with huge play time. Xur selling exotics fixed that RNG problem.

10 RepliesLol first of all you don’t have 3 characters at 599 Second of all, you have wishender, which is a new exotic Third of all, 12 hours a day? Can you go outside lol

"Exotics have to feel exotic" says every neckbeard on here

So my light level on my warlock is 555 and everything is pretty even except my warlock bond which is only light level 548. I’m wondering if i should risk wasting a bunch of weekly and daily mission to get a higher warlock bond, which would result in only +1 overall light level or should i do the higher stuff first and then do my weekly and daily missions to fix my jagged edges, what would benefit me more? I really need to know before the reset. Thanks ;)
