  • Why punish players for doing good? Remove those mechanics. No buffs for their team. "Just do better." -Drifter

  • You literally missed the whole point of the post. They aren't punishing players for being good at all.

  • Then why am i losing games when I summon primeval first and winning games when we summon primeval after?

  • When I play with a team, and we summon at least 15 seconds before the enemy team, we typically win anyway (like 70% chance). Because we coordinate: I Nova Warp the Envoys to strip shields and health, one person watches for Invaders, the other two burn the Envoys and the other adds, then we focus down the boss by rotating Hammer Strike/Shattering Strike with heavies and specials. Can kill our primeval in 30 seconds with only Slayer x2 if we do it all right.

  • See I play solo, so I'm stuck with randoms. I'm apart of a clan, but most of them don't have mics. And my close friends have school or hw so they aren't often as I am.

  • Those are nothing but excuses. The people I played with were random too. Picked them up making a post on the fireteam channel. Yon honestly can't make the excuse of "I have nobody to play with." When you have LFG and fireteam channel at your disposal. I'm on the other side of the world as everybody else that I play with -including my wife. So if I want to play with a group then I just find random people.

  • See but here is the thing. As a solo player, I have beat a fire team of 4 people from the same clan, and then been beaten by the same clan the next game. There is some manipulation in Gambit, just like in Crucible. And these aren't excuses, I totally could find team for this crappy game mode that is clearly broken and not "competitive" (as Bungie calls it).

  • I'm a solo player too. I've solo'd nightfalls, D1 Black Spindle mission, all Court of Oryx bosses back before Rise of Iron, all perfected SIVA bosses, Whisper of the Worm, accidentally solo'd the Xol Strike for my Sleeper quest, Blind Well T3, and I'm currently working on Luna's Howl while solo. I have a history of playing solo, but even then, I still know how to simply suck up my pride and call for backup in something as team-heavy as gambit. And if I lose then I lose. I had a 23-win streak, and lost it. I didn't rage I didnt blame the game for some random B.S, I simply accepted that the enemy team played better (which they did). Sometimes you just get straight unlucky. Doesn't mean the game has some magical voodoo against you. Don't blame the game just because you lost.

  • Simple: complacency. Winning team gets complacent and thinks "we've got time" They specifically just said that the trailing team is STILL trailing in slayer stacks, when they summon. If you're losing when you summon first, then that simply means that the enemy team was better than you in every way. They fought smarter, fought harder, and coordinated better.

  • Uh no they didn't. The reason why the team that was ahead lost was because they have to deal with an insane amount of adds (The ones that spawn, and whatever the team behind banks and spawns) then they also have to deal with Invaders. But once the team that is behind catches up, the other team is now dispersed and distracted by the amount of adds that the other team doesn't have to deal with at all. It's a nightmare for solo people. I bet if I was in a team (Which I plan on making consisting of my brother and two friends from my HS) I bet we will win most games.

First of all, no one side has more enemies than the other when their Primeval is summoned The wth the exception of a few blockers (which are child's play to handle) Adds are a non factor if you have a super to handle them. Nova, Shadowshot, Stormtrance, Chaos Reach, Arc Staff, Hammer of Sol, Burning Maul, Daybreak. If you want to help even a non-communicating team then be the guy who clears the adds and depend on them to handle the rest with their supers. Even a novice player can pick up on that much.
