Stacks everywhere, Solo players leaving in the first two minutes , Sleeper simulant galore , If Riven doesn't spawn people leave the lobby .... it's such a mess, why the fk would you do that to gambit shitungie ? make the quest drop from resetting your f gambit rank (first time, second time idc), that way only hardcore gambit players can get it. Instead of having to deal with all this random RNG nonsense that is clearly ruining this game mode
I don't give a shet about a hand cannon, i'm just mad Gambit is in a really really bad state right now because it is by far my favorite game mode in Destiny 2
(yes i'm a solo player)

50 RepliesWhen the boss spawns, it should be way harder, but the opposing team is teleported to help. If defeated, all 8 players succeed and get to the quest line.
-
I just got the servitor, defeated it and right as we did, it said we lost when the other team had not even summoned their primeval.
-
3 RepliesGambit definitely ruined this quest. Bungie thinks they're so slick. They locked this exotic behind Gambit so they can make it seem like the game mode is super popular. Everyone is playing for this quest, and as for myself I've played over 100 games and haven't even seen the Servitor. It's absolutely ridiculous that this quest is locked behind such heavy RNG!!!!

2 RepliesEdited by xxPieruchoxx: 10/2/2018 1:29:24 PMIt is ok to keep exotics ultra rare, but is not good place exotic quests that force players to play in a way that ruin the game. Ace of espades, chaperone and Malfeasance quests force players that only want the exotic weapons to play Gambit in a way that ruins the game for other gambit players really want to enjoy it.
-
I don’t have any biases so I’ll just throw my two cents in. Ever since the malfeasance quest became live, there have been a lot more 4 stacks in gambit. I think I lost count at 12. 12 being the number of 4 stacks I consecutively ran into. I think it should have been a quest for resetting your infamy rank 3 times, but that’s just my opinion.

"Hardcore Gambit players"
-
It didn't ruin gambit. All the negativity bout sleeper, solo players complaining about getting whooped by fireteams, and the boss not spawning enough is putting a bad taste in everyones mouth bout gambit I play solo mostly. Raids, trials, nightfall I'll get a fireteam together. I did have the servitor drop twice for me. Lost the first time and won the 2nd time.

3 Replies???? I enjoy Gambit. You people are never happy. Not everything is brought to you on a silver platter
-
1 ReplyI love everything about Gambit. Seems to me there's a lot of whining just because you can.
-
This has not been my experience at all. Idk. People stay in all my games, and I don't feel entitled to any exotics either. People should just play. Let this stuff happen organically.
-
3 RepliesYou’ll have plenty of time to get this gun. Bungie don’t listen to these kind of posts. Keep exotics ultra rare and quest based exotics extremely difficult to get.
-
1 ReplySolo player here too. Finished the quest and I've been playing with the gun. Totally worth the hassle and frustrating randomness. When we got the Servitor down it was a heart in mouth moment like I haven't had since Aksis. The quest was tricky but doable. The gun is fun and different. All this makes the game they way I enjoyed it in D1. Happy.

6 RepliesShitungie... Really? That's the best you can come up with?

Gambit is unplayable now. The few games that I’ve played recently consist of people purposely losing motes to speed up a loss to get their free engram or people leaving when it doesn’t generate what they want. There should be nothing rewarded in a manner that encourages people to lose or sit and wait or not participate in the activity on purpose. How have the game designers still not caught on from the very first Crimson Doubles debacle?
-
Yeah. My win/loss ratio as a solo has gone down significantly since this quest went live.
-
Yes agree. Relying on Boss RNG sux. Gambit is a fun mode but when certain activities such as this, Makes Gambit awful. Would have been better if Bungo allowed that certain drop to happen after you downed 20th primeval

2 RepliesBro I completely understand your pain I just played my 123rd gambit match without the boss spawning. Played my 124th match just a few minutes ago decided to go it alone since my usual group wasn’t in today. We win the first round no problem. 2nd round riven boss spawned, I thought to myself “FINALLY! I can eat this quest started!” But no my teammates iq suddenly dropped to zero. They didn’t target any of the bosses orbs that make it invulnerable they didn’t pick up any heavy ammo before hand that combined with invaders coming every 10 sec with sleeper stimulant one shorting everything destroyed any hope I had. I singlehandley get the boss down to its last bit of health because I got lucky and there was heavy ammo drops everywhere and I was using blade barrage and sleeper but we still lost. I’m honestly just fricken done. Seems Bungie just likes to suck the fun out of everything especially when they lock exotics behind PvP. I don’t know about everyone else but I hate the PvP in this game I only play for PvE content so anytime I see that Bungie forced us to play PvP to get an exotic we might want it really just pisses me off and makes me want to stop playing this game. This quest is by far the worst one yet and I’m honestly this goddamn close to uninstalling Destiny out of frustration if they don’t rework this quest soon. They really should just make it so you have to reset your gambit rank once or three times or -blam!-ing whatever. I swear if anymore exotics come out that are locked behind not only PvP but have RNG thrown into the mix I’m officially done with with this game.

Edited by e92BlMMER: 10/1/2018 12:03:43 AMAs a solo player I’ve beat the special boss twice with randoms. Never seen randoms leave my team.. What really sucks is that every enemy team i play all 4 players have the same clan tag , that means they communicate...make a system that pairs other solos together and not full teams
-
10 RepliesYa’ll already made them gimp Ace with your whining. Give it a rest! Community is full of self-entitled babies who want everything handing to them
-
Gambit was ruined before malfeasance came to be
-
It's a meh gun. No way I would grind matches for it.. gambit is meh to begin with.
-
5 RepliesLet’s be honest we all know bungees just gonna completely ignore us and there will also be people that will just say “get good stop whining” and not understand that we’re not just complaining that we can’t get the gun, but that because of this quest people are playing as scummy as possible and is all around a very unpleasant experience to take part in. I like gambit I really do and I hate PvP so gambit was really cool for me since it’s not your run of the mill boring, filled with sweaty people PvP experiences. Least that’s how it was at first until Bungie in all there raging stupidity decided to release the quest.

Edited by Jinx: 10/1/2018 1:58:56 AMAs far as I'm concerned they ought to just make it show up a lot more often. I'm not eager or excited to get the peeeestol, from all I've seen it's pretty bland. I do however want people to stop acting weird in gambit so I can enjoy the game. I've seen people deliberately losing matches. I've seen people become hyper toxic. There's that whole stacked team thing. People treating it like they will literally die if they don't have it within the first week and a half of it becoming available is making this a lot of not fun. If they make the quest easy to get, people wills top acting this way. They'll still have to grind off the quest. And a lot of people are not the light level for it yet. Atleast not the ones who didn't cheat. You know who you are. So getting the quest will diffuse the weird behavior and people will just get their stupid shard gun when ever they get it.

I haven’t noticed that yet. I really like gambit though. We had a close game last night where my team won the first match and the other team got their Primeval first in the second match. I went through the portal, killed 4 guardians and made it back safely. Their primeval healed and as soon as I got back, our primeval spawned. We ended up winning the second match by a hair. Good fun for me because it suits my play style.
-
1 Reply100% agree. Plus now hearing about it, it seems totally Gambit designed so it become somewhat pointless outside of it. And the fact is already RNG and there LOWERING the spawn rate. Like what the hell. Which defeat the point of an exotic as all exotic should feel powerful but it feels like it only going to be powerful in gambit, unless they redo the perks so you can swap between gambit perks and General perks. Also the number of times I hear 'Your being invaded' and before the clock even ticked down one I get sleeper killed. I've even completed the mote pay in animation, coming out of it. Got kill and then it saying I lost the motes. How the hell have I lost them, they have left my guardian my hand is coming away from the input. I know it bad practice but when that happens or I get insta sleepered I just leave now. I am done with that.

Didn't really like gambit before, its 100% worse now.
