Gambit is the only game type where I started noticing there might be an issue. Don’t recall people really having as much of a problem with it before gambit, and queenbreaker’s bow appears to be just as bad. The problem appears to be that invaders will inevitably pop in, seemingly every minute sometimes, have a super nice overshield, will very clearly see opposing players through all the chaos anywhere on the map -players that can’t see them just as easily and don’t have an overshield mind you - and one shot those players for the duration of their invasion from across the map while they’re already getting shot at by tons of mobs and desperately trying to hold onto their motes. It’s gotten to where if you aren’t incredibly lucky and hiding in a corner somewhere, then you’re probably going to die to sleeper simulant or queenbreaker’s bow and lose motes countless times every single match. Why not leave the weapons alone for pve and just tweak something about gambit invasions or how these weapons perform in gambit instead? So sure, it does seem like gambit shouldn’t be an obnoxious game of dying to sleeper simulant or queenbreaker’s bow over and over, but I don’t know if ruining weapons altogether is the answer.
