Clarification on Gambit's Primeval Slayer Buff
Everyone knows that death heals Primeval, but not everyone knows all of the intricacies of how the Primeval Slayer buff works. The Gambit Design team wanted to clear up a few misconceptions.

Our twin goals have been hitting the right balance between elasticity and competitiveness and fostering close, dynamic games. Now that Gambit is out in the wild, we’re closely monitoring the conversation around the Primeval phase (and playing a ton of it ourselves).

2 RepliesI get the intention of this, but I’ve seen very good arguments against this idea, the best being that the ammunition it takes to build those stacks is precious. With the trailing team being allowed more invades to heal the primeval, and then having free stacks... it actually causes the leading team to waste a significant amount of ammunition compared to the trailing team, which will begin their primeval with a buff and nearly full heavy and super for most of their team. This unfortunately is very abusable and should be looked at further, I think.

I am enjoying it quite a bit regardless. Have had some of those close matches where I have come from behind as well when the other team has. Its intense and enjoyable. Great game mode.

7 RepliesAnyone getting killed extremely quick compared to last week? I don't really understand the buffs, but I know some parts. However, I was getting one shoted by the ads multiple times a match. The invaders were even worse.

If they fall behind, it's because of their own incompetence. Don't reward them for it. I've lost matches because these players manage to summon a Primeval, and then Insta-melt it. Is that fair? Hell. No. Get it right, Bungie.

Must be part of the way things go now. No ,loser everybody wins,thats what they teach the kid's now. Please ignore all those saltbags... I think that it's good to get a few stacks, even if you are miles behind! And if we're being honest, if you can't kill the Primeevil with x5 before the enemy team kills theirs with x1, you're generally a bad player! Hate comments incoming...

3 RepliesWhy dont you just remove being able to see the oppositions names when you invade IF your primeval is up? That way it's more high risk high reward and you dont even need to nerf sleeper Or if that's too hard you get 3 seconds of true sight upon invading so you can see where everybody is
