This whole raid super fun and every mechanic was different . Every weapon and piece of gear was meaningful and outbreak Prime was a fun puzzle.sliding under the door to avoid being toasted, running away and fixing death zamboni, plus slam dunks on spider tank. Best raid by far. It was the perfect difficulty as well.
Edit: I wanted to Thank everyone on this forum for being respectful of everybody's opinion and not condoning toxic behavior, many thanks enjoy the forum:)
And yes VoG still has that special Nostalgic place in my heart

2 RepliesWotM was just Kings fall: fallen edition, therefore Kings fall is the best
change my mind
1 ReplyCan’t change your mind but it’s not the best. I only responded to mildly influence people on the fence about agreeing with you.

1 ReplyVoG is the best but I did love Axis

1 ReplyEdited by Smough: 10/1/2018 12:10:41 PMIt’s terrible because it released with RoI and that dlc was garbage.
Besides, last wish is probably better.
I think it was by far the easiest raid to learn and master. Personally crotas end was my favorite. I wasn't even a player when it originally dropped but after playing during AoT i just really enjoyed it, it just felt like a raid should be imo. Kingsfall was fun but was painful to learn and tbh I wasn't a fan of VoG (I know thats Destiny blasphemy). I really hope they bring back raid armor like they had during AoT in D1. That would definitely have me excited to raid again.

I wonder how many people are looking at this that doesn't have the whisper of the worm yet, absolutely losing their shit screaming at the screen! HOW CAN BUNGIE CHANGE IT TO A FKING RAID! WHY I HATE YOU BLERAGH NERF FUSION RIFLES *SHOVES REMOTE CONTROL INTO OPEN ORIFICE* to those people I say this.... No... Its Wrath of the Machine.

6 RepliesI disagree. In my opinion, it was the worst raid in D1. I haven't played Last Wish yet, but I do think that it was better than Leviathan. Here are my main issues: 1. The story/lore behind the raid is garbage. It is disconnect from the associated campaign - Leviathan is the worst offender here, while King's Fall is an example of how it should be done. The "bad guy" is a "literally who", with a side of "and why the -blam!- do I care?". The mechanics aren't properly explained. The actual lore was barebones and kinda weak. 2. While the encounters were fun, they didn't have that epic feeling. When one of the highlights is carrying some zamboni parts from point A to B...well, I can't imagine my guardian sitting around with others and bragging about it. 3. The Fallen are just terrible as an enemy. Adding SIVA was a nice touch, but as an enemy combatant the Fallen don't measure up. Tracer Shanks are just about the most challenging enemy type they have, and that comes down to the fact that they can potentially one hit kill you. Most of their attacks as pretty easily to telegraph and dodge... thus why we had a zamboni as an encounter. Ogres as intimidating. Hydra's are threatening. Servitors make me giggle. 4. While most of the weapons were great, there were basically only 3 or 4 that are worth keeping due to the fact of just how OP they were. Once you had them, everything else became obsolete.

15 RepliesI’m getting scared that there might be a little raid phenomenon. The Phenomenon being : Any player will only like their first raid, feeling that raid is the best and will never have that feeling again. I am a Taken Tot. And King’s Fall just feels the best to me. And all the D1Y1 guys love Vault. But I did rock WotM as well - that too was a damn good raid. Leviathan- meh.

1 ReplyWhy would I change your mind about a correct statement? 😎😂

I have to agree. WoTM was my favorite. I liked the mechanics, simple yet difficult. And I liked how the weapons/armor had perks to correspond with the raid. (All D1 raids did this). The new raids are a little too mechanic heavy I think. Plus I dislike not having perks on gear to make getting raid gear truly meaningful besides light level
-
2 RepliesWhile I liked Wrath, every raid after King's Fall became too mechanic heavy. Every raid has mechanics and damage checks, but Crota's End and VoG were mostly focused on endless hordes while adhering to the given requirements of each section. They were tough, but forgiving as you could continue even with dead players. The new raids make it so if you screw up once, it gives little room to recover. While that can be a fun challenge, it can also be insanely stressful.

King's Fall, nuff said

Why would someone want to change your mind? Weak minded?

I'm having a hard time actually deciding what my most favorite raid was. I loved VoG, but also really loved WotM and KF. The only one I really didn't like to be perfectly honest was Leviathan, because they had us jumping through hoops to get it done....... literally jumping through hoops.
-
I can’t agree , vog is #1 for me. Personally I think Levi and all the Lairs are trash. Wrath was ok..
-
Can’t it’s my favorite raid to haven’t done last wish though.
-
never got to fully do KF or WOTM, sadly. maybe one day i’ll pop D1 back in
-
2 RepliesVault is the best, the encounters all followed the story arc and the weapons were the best in the 3 years. Everyone wanted fate, vex and preatorian. My vision stayed with me all the way through.
-
I’ve enjoyed all of the raids back in D1. Mostly, VOG & WOTM. KF was really dope, Crota’s end was cool but it quickly got too easy. I haven’t played Last Wish yet, but from what I’ve heard it’s really cool. Can’t wait to play it though!
-
let’s be honest, every raid was pretty nice. but last wish, last wish is so epic, especially when that music starts playing.

VoG WotM KF Leviathan CE Can’t say anything about Leviathan Lairs or Last Wish since I haven’t done them, but of the ones I’ve done, those are my favs ranked most to least favorite.
-
1 ReplyI liked Kings Fall best followed by VOG and then last wish
-
Nah Kings Fall is better
