There’s practically no situation that justifies running this weapon. In PvE it’s a waste of an exotic slot, in PvP it’s mediocre at best. Especially a waste of an exotic slot in both categories knowing I could be running the easier, more rewarding counterpart: Ace of Spades.
The stacking explosions has some niche uses but nothing that justifies running it over something else.
The Malfeasance Quest was on par with the Chaperone in PvP difficulty- and on par with the Wish-Ender with the 580 Mission.
Yet it rewards you with a severely below-par weapon? Listen, it looks friggin cool but the weapon ain’t good. Why doesn’t it have DoT like the Thorn? The drifter sure said some soppy shit about the weapon being “better” when it doesn’t even compare to the Thorn.
Waste of time and effort imo, wish I had known how bad the weapon was before pursuing it so intently with the limited time I have to play the game.

2 RepliesBecause the sleeper and the worm are exotic heavy weapons and that handcannon is a primary.

11 RepliesThe issue is Bungie has allowed weapons such as sleeper and whisper to be so godly overpowered in pve and pvp (for sleeper atleast) that it is very hard to pick something over them. I would suggest just go out and get Malfeasance and Wish Ender cause they did this same thing in D1, it was Thorn. It was garbage at first, no one used it unless you wanted it just for looks, then later they buffed it like crazy and it became a god tier weapon.

1 ReplyWhy wouldn’t a rocket launcher be better than a handcannon? Better devils being better is more of a preference.

3 RepliesOf course a rocket launcher is better than a hand Cannon...

I feel like stacking the slugs with a Titans new void detonators would be pretty strong against mini bosses. I'll have to get to playing Gambit. I'm sure I could find some fun in the gun.
