As the title suggests, I'm posing the hypothesis that Mithrax is actually a weilder of the Light. In one of the lore cards, Variks remarks how Mithrax has come back to life at least once. But, as you can obviously tell he's not Scorn as he's currently in a fireteam with a Hunter and Warlock. It cant be SIVA either like it was with Taniks, because we took care of that problem two years ago. So what option besides Light is there left? The Titan world quest we meet him in takes place after the Traveler wakes up, so it's entirely possible. But even then, I propose that isn't where he died. If you've read the Geomag Stabilizers lore entry then you can guess what I'm about to suggest. I suggest that [i]that[/i] is when he died. Think about it. The Warlock is pleading with her "unexpected friend" with "needle like teeth" to just hang on there a little while longer. It then confirms later in the entry that this unexpected friend is in fact dead right before a Chaos Reach pours forth from her palms. This corresponds with both the Lord of Wolves and Queenbreakers lore tabs in that there's a Warlock with a close Fallen friend. And you don't come across that very often. DEFINITELY not often enough for there to be two separate accounts of it, considering how much the Fallen seem to hate us. So given all this, how is Mithrax still alive right now? My guess is that he's the first Eliksni Risen. What are your thoughts? Do you guys think this has any credence?
