I can't say it was due to something in the last weekly reset (9/25/18) but I can say I haven't had any issues until last night. I was playing for a few hours and then decided to do the blind well. After about 15 minutes of doing it, my PC shut off completely, no BSOD or freeze, just shut off.
So today I tried playing again and did a few patrols and strikes for a few hours. Then I got off to eat and later came back. The first place I went to was the dreaming city and as soon as my ship was landing on the planet my PC crashed again.
This makes it 2 times my PC crashed while on the Dreaming City. It's a brand new PC (minus the GPU) and I was monitoring my temps and know it was definitely not hot enough (CPU was only 50, GPU in the 60s).
Anyone else having this problem? And does Bungie know anything?

Edited by Syves: 10/11/2018 4:50:19 AMI'm having the exact same issue, so *bump* Playing ANYTHING year 1 is fine, but the second I go into anything added by Forsaken, an invisible timer starts where my PC is going to crash so hard it reboots. Sometimes, I can play an hour, sometimes, 5 minutes. I have managed to complete the campaign, but so far, haven't been able to do anything in the Dreaming City. Hard crash before I can finish anything. No error messages or log files made by destiny 2 I can find, as the PC just reboots instead of the game just crashing. So far, the only new thing I've been able to do safely is Gambit? I don't think I've crashed there yet. pre-emptive system dump: btag - Syves#1830 8700k cpu (running stock while I work this issue out) 1080ti also running stock, currently running 411.70 from testing, have same issues with 416.16. Have tried 2 more older revisions, no change. 16gb ram Win10 ver 1809 -Fresh reinstall of win10 as of last week as well. https://pastebin.com/mbKiNXDy - DXDiag

Happening to me today wasn't doing it yesterday, but man it's annoying. I've been having huge issues with D2 overall crashing my PC and it's completely random. I don't have the best GPU but i can easily play more intensive games and have 0 crashes.

2 RepliesBumping, and also having the same issue. I have done everything to try and fix it, but it is clear it is not a hardware issue. I am able to do everything BUT explore the Dreaming City.
