There’s a reason why Malfeasance looks like Thorn

This just occurred to me but it’s probably pretty obvious. The reason why Malfeasance looks so similar to Thorn isn’t because of lazy copy and paste design, or to be a throwback to thorn or even because it’s a weapon of sorrow (which I’m not sure if it is or not actually.) No the reason why these weapons look so similar is because Malfeasance is in fact a replica of Yor’s infamous cannon created by the group of guardians calling themselves the Shadows of Yor. As I’m sure most if not all of you know the drifter was once apart of this group so it makes sense for this to be his replica of the thorn as it seems most if not all of the members had their own version of the gun. That’s about all there is to it, I just noticed and wanted to point it out even if it is obvious. I could make the connection that the perk that allows the weapon to do extra damage to taken is someway related to Drifter’s experience with, well what I guess was the darkness itself on that planet or moon or whatever, but that’s probably not the case.
