Spoiler for malfeasance questline...
I beat the 580 corrupted strike you need to do for the malfeasance quest, but something really interesting occurs at the end
[spoiler] After you kill the last boss, your ghost finds out Callum was killed by another guardian, and there's even an audio recording of the murder. The murderer is known as "unknown guardian" and uses a golden gun to kill Callum. Who is it? I thought shin malphur but I'm not sure. Who do you think it is?/spoiler]

It is almost certainly Shin Malphur, he hunts the shadows of Yor and corrupted guardians, it's said he's 'the man with a golden gun' and he says the line 'any last words' to Callum which is where the last word gun comes from (it was Shins gun which he used to kill Dredgen Yor in the past)
