“you shouldn’t be infusing at this point”
we’re like 3 weeks into this expansion now im sorry but this argument is no longer valid

3 whole weeks, huh? I’m not infusing until I’m well past 550, and I’m not there yet. If you are, nice. If not, I wouldn’t be infusing yet. 3 weeks is nothing. Ridiculous to assume everyone wants to be done with this expansion in less than a month.

I’ll get to max level at some point. May as well infuse one time. Until then I keep a copy of each gear peace I get keeping the best roll. Same goes with masterworking. The way I see it masterworking is post max level progression. By the time I get to 600 I should have a very good collection of rolls that I know I’ll keep. I don’t want to waste resources masterworking something only to lose it when something better comes along.

I’m hoping to have that same discipline.

I don’t want to be done with the expansion I just don’t want to spend the next few months worrying about masterwork cores. Also I don’t want to be forced to use some shitty Duke. I want to use the weapons that I actually care about

Buy 3 from Spider every day and don’t infuse everything until you have an armor set that you want to run with for a long time. So you’ll look like a clown for a while and your PvE weapons will be less than ideal. Sometimes it’s about the journey & not just the destination. Bungie is trying to keep a fan base; this is what many of us have wanted for a long time. Perhaps the era of being spoonfed everything you need in less than a month has spoiled everyone.

Edited by Gort: 9/26/2018 3:03:54 AMWhat? No this is NOT what we’ve been asking for. We’ve been asking for rarer and powerful exotics and legendaries, more challenging activities, slower LL progression, etc. Not unnecessary infusion costs that force us to use shit that we don’t want to use. If I work hard to get a certain weapon, I don’t want to be forced to use a shittier weapon just because I can’t afford to infuse it

If you buy 3 from Spider every day, you should have more than enough MC’s to level up the occasional pristinely rolled, super efficient weapon or armor. Choosing to infuse everything all the time goes against the current economy. It doesn’t make sense. Manage your resources. It’s very simple. Having to wear some ugly legs or run around with a crappy sidearm for a week is not gamebreaking.

way to completely ignore what I was saying

also it’s not like removing masterwork cores from infusion is going to speed up progression, it’ll just allow us to use the weapons and armor we actually want to use
