MW Cores are awful for infusion!!! UPVOTE TO FIX!!!!!
Oh my god, what were you all thinking?! Look, I know that you were trying to not make the game a breeze, which I completely agree with, and for the most part, I like the changes. But making Masterwork Cores infusion items was a horrible idea and completely makes me feel like I have way less control over how I want my character to develop. If I have a gun or piece of armor I like, but it has a low power level, then I have to go with the one with the higher power level in order to get through the game. I am not like some of your fan base, I don't have that much time. While I do like your changes, I think that the masterwork cores is a setback and it's not making me enjoy your product that you want your fans to enjoy. I think that Forsaken would be so much better if you just made masterwork cores for getting a weapon masterwork, and maybe increase the drop rates of those a little bit so it won't be so monotonous. Keep up the good work, that being said. This franchise is heading in a positive direction. :)

2 RepliesAfter numerous posts and now almost a month after launch. Bungie is not responding to the removing MW from infusion, neither positive nor negative. I guess as long as they have a large amount of player base ATM. They are not going to either respond to this issue or fix it.

um, guns like sleeper are being abused to death, causing them to nerf it soon, all csuse infusing... yet you want it EASIER to infuse?! u are kidding, right?

2 RepliesSame boat bro. So I don’t even bother with anything I come across. I just equip the high light power stuff no matter how dumb the combination is. Once I hit power 600. I can then care about stuff I collect.

2 RepliesNo. Making the game easier will ruin it longterm. The ace of spades quest change was bad enough. If Bungie keeps pandering to crybabies then we will end up with a stale game like vanilla D2.

Totally agreed. Now i'm getting less and less MW cores for dismanting 2-3 items max. I feel like when one thing gets fixed, it messes up another. I think bungie should start to run polls before they update something. That way even if the minority isn't happy with the changes, as long the grind feels fun for the majority of us then everyone would be better off. The problem may be that they're listening to too many people. I know every player has their preferences but maybe they're can be too many complaints..thus creating chaos like this. Let me know what you guys think.

You get back a pretty good fraction of your shards, weapon parts and you will get several Cores. Take your new cores and your newly acquired weapons part to Banshee and pray for a new weapon drop worthy of your time. Doing this not only buys you Cores, but it also buys you Weapons parts and possibly some decent weapons. Its how I picked up my Two Tailed Fox.

i think upgrading weapons is WAY too expensive now. i have like no MW cores anymore and only two new masterworks. up the price on glimmer purple shards, or whatever, but the MW cores are hard to come by. love the game....keep on keepin on.

I totally agree with you, Sir. I loved how you could choose the gear that directly helped your personal play style and level up the way you wanted. Now your forced to use random gear for drops and you never feel like your character is how you want it to be. I'm Totally fine with more of a challenge i don't mind working for what i want, but jeez this masterwork garbage is ridiculous. They took away a huge part of customization. Character development is arguably the entire point of playing Destiny and they made it way to difficult to do that.

2 RepliesRequiring masterwork cores pushes players into using weapons they normally wouldn't. It is similar to the way they made all year one gear worthless once TTK came out. They didn't like players using only one weapon set, so they forced players to play their way....I guess it is their game after all.

Protip: contact all the other OPs of these threads, and consolidate them into a single one. That way, you get all the support in one place, not 30 copy-pasta thread all over the forums.

Or you could wait til you get another drop of the gun or armor you like and infuse for just glimmer. Armor especially there aren't many new sets of armor so if you get one you like put it in your pocket til you get a powerful drop for it and infuse for glimmer. I have 1 of each armor just sitting around. Always find the best perk roll and infuse the higher power to it. No MW cores needed

2 Repliesthey should keep the infusion system as it is, but add gunsmith bounties that reward cores. Meaning players can easily grind for them. You could have things like "get 100 pulse rifle kills in the EDZ" that rewards 2 cores, "20 shotgun kills on challenging enemies" that rewards 5 cores, etc. That way it is giving players more stuff to do. On a monday when i haven't got a lot to do as i have done all my power engrams i could be like hmmm i might go and grind some gunsmith bounties for an hour and get some cores. Also gunsmith bounties that reward mods would be good as well.
