Explosive Payload FIELD TESTING (after hot fix). Fixed or still bad? You decide...

Explosive Payload (EP) was nerfed into the ground in 2.0, more so than intended. September 11th there was a hot fix. I tested it today with both scouts and hand cannons. Red bars: EP body shot: +15% damage. EP crit shot: -10% damage scout rifles, -11% damage hand cannons. Lost sector boss: EP body shot: +15% damage EP crit shot: +9.5% damage scout rifles, +10.5% damage hand cannon. I also tested Timed Payload on hand cannons, which is very similar to Explosive Payload now. Timed Payload does a tiny bit more body shot damage and a tiny bit less crit shot damage compared to EP (about 1% difference from the above numbers) Added things to consider: - explosive damage from EP has no damage falloff. My testing was done within range. If you enter damage falloff territory, the comparisons become more favorable. - EP adds in a little AoE damage to clustered groups. Not like Firefly, but it's there. - EP still does well on bosses. Conclusion, TL;DR: I'm disappointed. EP still isn't back to where it was even after the first nerf. Here's the history (red bar damage): - Pre nerf: +50% body shot damage, identical crit damage. - First nerf: +30% body shot damage, -8% crit shot damage. - Second nerf: lol I have no idea I stopped using it because it was so bad. - Today: +15% body shot damage, -10%/11% crit damage. What do you guys think?
