Best Team Play Class?

So I think I’m going to play destiny with some of my friends and I’m not sure what class to play. I am the player who like being a team player I play tanks and healers in standard mmos because I don’t care about being top dps and I’m totally fine with helping my friends live longer and do more damage. So with that said I am looking at titans and warlock right now. Not really super interested in hunter but if they have some sort of super team play thing let me no. so I was hoping some destiny vets could help me narrow down what class has the best support team play role?

  • All three classes have some kind of team support. The Sentinel's Code of the Defender can grant nearby allies overshields with their melee, while their super paired with the Helm of Saint-14 is a good option for dfensiv crowd-control. Nightstalker's Way of the Pathfinder's smoke can make your allies invisible. The Stormcaller's Attunement of the Elements has an Arc Soul that adds a bit of extra damage for its duration, in addition to the Healing and Empowering Rifts. That said, of the new subclass trees, I'd recommend the Warlock's Attunement of Grace. You basically become a walking Empowering Rift, plus Well of Radiance is the lovechild of both rifts, but on steroids.

  • They all have ways of doing it, I can elaborate. Warlocks have lots of ways to heal or damage buff friends, Titans are great for protecting them, you haven't lived until you blocked a Nova Bob killing your whole team using a bubble. Hunters are the weird one most people don't know how to be a team player with them, a big one I know is going invisible and following a team mate, the radar only shows one person and the enemy just sees your friend and you can suprise team shoot because the enemy thinks it will be a 1v1. Another one is that hunters are a great flanking class. Hunters are mostly indepent and that's why you see them often.

For Titan: Sentinel (My main). It has a lot of defensive ability’s Protector and Commander has perks that heal and or recharge your allies abilities. Bubble and Banner Shield can be used to protect allies as well For Warlock: Grace Dawnblade: (my second favorite). You are full on healer, with some offensive buffs thrown in. Healing recharges healing ability’s faster and Well of Radiance gives damage and extremely quick heals For Hunter: Nightstalker. Tether is an orb generation machine and it debuffs your enemies defense, it’s great at crowd control and boss damage.

    • Attunment of grace is the best subclass in the game. Maybe even in destiny history.

You should go with Titan, when you use top tree with the sentinel subclass melee kills will heal you and your allies and give you and nearby allies a shield. The super is useful for both add clearing and single target dps as well as using the secondary ability of making a giant bubble around you that can be used to give you and your team some time to relax and revive others.
and if you combine it with the helm of Saint 14 or the Ursia Furiosa gauntlets you can be almost impossible to kill
