Weasel error on only 1 of my 3 characters, bnet profile inaccessible

can't access hunter, but can access titan and warlock bungie.net account can't find destiny account so I can't access companion apps or dim edit 1: also cleared cache, uninstalled and rebooted network (not that it can fix server side problems.) edit 2: I notice it's on the list of issues https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/248331271?sort=0&page=0 edit 3: xlbeLIEvelx latest post from a reddit discussion sheds light on our issue edit 4: it's changed to high priority issue edit 5: 1 week without dim and my hunter. I really miss dim.

  • Been getting quite a few weasles myself. Get a white screen, the weasle and booted to destiny start screen every time. 😕

  • Here is a video of the problem happening. Only my warlock has the issue. Titan and Hunter are fine. Just like OP, I can't access any my characters on bungie.net or any 3rd party site. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/313887111 Here is the sequence of events seen in the video: - I can't login as my Warlock - I can login as my Hunter - I can login as my Titan - I can't login as my Warlock.

    • Haven’t tried my warlock or titan, but I can’t access my hunters either. I have 2 accounts and 1 account only has hunters so I can’t play at all.

      I can't access my Hunter but I can access my Warlock and Titan just fine. I also can't access the gear tab on the Destiny 2 app and any third party apps. I cant find any fixes from Bungie or Bungie even acknowledging the issue

    • One of the extremely helpful developers clarified this a bit for us over on reddit. The good thing is we now know what caused the issue and how to avoid it on other characters while they develop a fix. The bad thing is, until they get a fix in place, we won't be able to access our characters where the issue has already happened. The short version is: any character who had a bounty go to the post master and then the bounty expired at the post master is experiencing this issue.     • Same problem here. Can't log in with my Hunter and Bungie.Net no longer recognises my PSN account's data. 0 Hours played? Ha ha! Please update us Bungie.

                  I'm having the same issue tbh. I only had a hunter and it stopped working a few days ago. I made a new character and I haven't had the same issue but I miss my hunter

                    • Having the same problem now for over a week. Exactly the same problem. I have deleted the game and reloaded, spent hours on calls to ISP, xbox customer support and everyone has said it's a bungie problem. Bungie has been less than helpful. By that I mean they are ignoring 99.9% of me asking for help and what's going on.

                    • Same problem for me, only it's my warlock. Instant weasel error if I try to login as warlock. No problem with Titan or Hunter. But none of the 3rd party apps work now either so I have no way of retrieving gear I have stored on my warlock.
