FML they would go and drop a double valor weekend when i am already at max valor and 2.5 steps away from reset rank step. and of course on wednesday i turned in my crucible bounties i was hoarding. I might of actually been able to make use of the extra valor if i had know this was coming. Did they only announce the double valor weekend in yesterdays twab? or was it posted somewhere else earlier?

Your resets are retroactive so you can reset now and it will count towards the 5 lol

According to Dmg04 they aren't, but according to Kevin Yanes, they are.

they arent retroactive as in Sesson 3 counts, but season 4 ones already done count. the wording of the questions were vague and the answers given way to simplistic

Two different bungie employees said two different things. Kevin Yanes said anything with a rank is retroactive, however, someone specifically asked DMG04 "Does resetting your valor rank counts retroactively. For example if i reset the rank 2 times before the step does it count for the quest step or no?" He replied "Nope" See below link to the twitter post for source.
