Ehhhh, technically true, but not useful... If I had to wait for every like-named piece to drop in order to compete with passable equipment in Iron Banner or Gambit, none of those game types would be fun. I had a ton of cores stored up, and while I am enjoying the game, I'm now completely out - just to keep pace with the power level/competition...
-
You didn't have to do that though. If people would stop trying to constantly edge up their favorite gear pieces, they'd have a bunch of master work cores. I started forsaken with around thirty & I still have around thirty.
-
But that's just it. Edging up your favourite pieces shouldn't be a detriment.
-
Why not?
-
Why should it be a detriment? Do us a favor and try to actually think about it.
-
I didn't say it should be. I asked why he said it shouldn't.
-
It's not fun.
-
That's subjective. Some people like to grind.
-
If it’s fun, it’s a grind. The fact that you refer to it as a grind tells us YOU don’t even think it’s fun. People understand grinds, no one LIKES them.
-
Oh I definitely don't like grinds lol I've been saying since D2 launched that the problem was that our gear was boring, not that the game wasn't grindy enough. I understand that the world doesn't revolve around me & my desires though, which is why I said some people like to grind, not that grinds are objectively good.
-
But that's not grind. That's an extra layer of garbage that purely extends the grind in a disgustingly artificial way.
-
that's not grind

that purely extends the grind
Wouldn't anything that extends the grind be a grind?
-
No. It's an artificial layer, you moron, comprehension, get some. It isn't grind, it's purely there to slow everyone down.
-
It isn't grind, it's purely there to slow everyone down.
Lol okay well tell me what grind doesn't slow you down. Also, tell me what a natural grind would be, as opposed to an artificial one.
-
You know? Playing the game using gear you want to use, and be able to progress, with the items you, y'know, ALREADY EARNED. The infusion system is broken. Why shouldn't we be able to use the gear we earned to infuse the gear we like, THAT WE ALREADY EARNED, without some BS cost added on, to make that unnecessarily difficult?

-
It isn't. That's the point. We shouldn't be held back by crap gear. We're done here.
-
I take it that you realized you weren't making any sense. I guess I'll never learn how to make a natural grind in an video game lol
