The only Forsaken exotics I’ve gotten is ace of spades and chaperone quests. I have received around 5-8 repeat Y1. I’d like to point out I have over 100 hours played, done almost every milestone, wanted, blind well gambit, crucible, nf etc on multi characters every week. I have friends who play about half as much and they have several (3-5 each)
Tonight I got an ace of spades repeat. Please fix your broken RNG system because it’s nonsense that I keep getting Y1 repeats and no Forsaken ones.

Good god the amount of Votes...

I've gathered feedback on Exotic drop rates, duplicates, and frustration getting more Year 1 items than Year 2 and sent it to the team. I've also passed along the request to not allow Quest items like Ace and Chappy to drop after you obtain them. Thanks for sharing your suggestion.

I enjoy not having every single exotic in two weeks. Keeps drops interesting.
-
Well it could be worse. Be me and have 0 drops of any kind.

I don't mind them being rare but getting a -blam!-ing exotic sparrow from season 3 as a drop from a strike is ridiculous. Especially as it was already unlocked through bright engrams DURING S3.
-
Edited by Tk: 9/22/2018 5:27:43 PMI actually prefer it this way. Exotics should be rare. I'm at 551 power so I've played a decent amount. I have the Cerberus, trinity and the warlock robes. All of the drops were from high health yellow bar enemies
-
I’m fine with it. Seriously doesn’t matter.
-
Yup I agree three exotic drops for me has been ace of spades. Thankfully banshee was kind and gave me two tailed fox. But the drop rate is shocking I have done everything on 3 ALTs since release and thats all I get. I swear I'm waiting for the day I pick up an exotic engram and edge transit appears
-
I’ve only received two exotics since forsaken dropped. Both year 1.
-
Edited by TehW3apon: 9/23/2018 5:06:29 AMI have one single Forsaken exotic...and it is that shitty wannabe pulse rifle shotgun Lord of Ammo Consumption. Edit: not including the quested ones.
-
The exotic system is broken, I’ve gotten the world line zero from a gambit match when I’ve never gotten all the nodes required for it
-
I swear to Christ if I get a AoS or a chaperone from an engram, I will not be pleased.
-
Man lol, the only exotics I’ve gotten are the quest specific AoS and chaperone, and xur armour. Not one exotic drop yet.
-
In the time I've been playing, I've only gotten two drops. A random Colony in the middle of a Gambit match (which was fine since I hadn't gotten it on PC), and a Graviton from a Gunsmith package, which was fairly annoying. No new exotic armor, and no new guns besides Ace and Chaperone. Bungo, plz.

This is just my opinion. Xur should start selling Forsaken exotics after the first month. If Fated engrams dont return at this point aswell, they should return around 2 weeks to a month after this point. There is a point at which people who are unlucky need assistance from Xur. - When the following expansion drops removal of Fated engrams should return for a lil over a month. At which point exotics from that pool are added to Xur aswell. - Furthermore, I believe that the Fated engram should be a weekly quest you purchase from Xur. Requirements for completion should be along the lines of... 100 Kinetic kills 100 Energy kills 100 Power kills 100 Precision kills 50 Ability kills 5 Heroic Public event completions 10 strikes or crucible match completions. Then... Complete the unique "Will of the Nine" mission. ¬Mission is essentially just a puzzle you solve to find a lost Treasure of the Nine At completion of mission you get a "Treasure of the Nine" exotic consumable along with a fated engram redemption. The Treasure of the Nine will replace the 97 Legendary shards cost to get your next weekly quest. If you dismantle it you get a couple shards and the 97 Legendary shard cost will be displayed again.

Trinity ghoul dropped for me

Exotic drop rates are crud, Xur doesn't sell new ones, Fated engrams don't give new ones and When you do get one the chance for a Year 1 item is too high. So Bungie when is this going to be fixed?
-
I've had Forsaken since launch day and only received 2 exotics and have played everyday a TON! I received Chaperon from completing a Quest Step and also Ace of Spade the LEGIT way. Yesterday I received an exotic from Xur but only because I purchased it with shards. Is there something I'm not doing right or..... are Bungie just making it difficult for whatever reason.
-
I got the Ace from gambit weekly the day after I completed the quest. I was not amused.
-
I don't mind low drop rates. It's the endless duplicates that make it suck.
-
I got the queensbreaker bow and tbh, that's old as hell so it doesn't count as new.
-
I can’t get the Lord of Wolves drop from the Spider bounties, or anything from Forsaken except the exotic quest ones.
-
I got the lord of wolves. It’s okay I guess.
-
I’ve got ace of spades (obviously), got the chaperone quest to drop, and lord of wolves, as well as a Darci
-
I've have 3 drop doing the rift with a fireteam and medallions, just don't turn it heroic and cash the charges as little as possible and it'll spawn yellows like crazy. They were all old exos but one dropped at 569 when I was 560, was pretty nice.
