Maybe 500 kills from a handcannon for the week for 10 cores?
I think we should have more sources for masterworks.

Maybe 500 kills a week from a single source? I rolled a pretty sweet pulse rifle that I like. That would be better. Can’t hit the blind side of a barn with a hand cannon.

no, there is no need for such a giveaway. people really need to learn to manage resources better, they are very easy to obtain as is. anyone who has none wasted what they had, or just bought the game.
-
Why not? We can already buy planetary materials from Spider and those rain down one you at their respective planets. Get off your high and mighty horse.
-
I'm on no horse. using the ways to purchase and earn that are currently available there are ample means to stockpile already. if you are an idiot who wastes them, then you have no room to cry over the economy of them spend wisely.
-
No one is wasting or crying. All that was suggested was an additional way to obtain them. This game literally gives you additional methods of acquiring almost every single material. This idea is not obscure in the slightest
-
you have additional methods to gain them now. you currently have all the methods needed to stockpile right now. that's the part you are missing by crying for more methods when you don't utilize the ones given. that is crying, if you have none you most likely wasted them infusing unnecessarily, so crying and wasting are quite relevant.

Edited by Tytan AE: 9/20/2018 7:12:55 PMPlease explain the "ample ways of earning" them, beyond the exorbitant pricing and the rng drops, because that's all I see, which is not an ample earning model. And I'm sitting on a lil over 200 cores, when it takes 17 to masterwork a gun that's not a lot
-
clearly you don't grasp how to buy them. there is a consumable, turning in planetary mats for rep can grant masterworks, just deleting legendaries will occasionally drop them. there are ways to obtain them, proper management of resources isn't Bungies issue it's the player. everything doesn't need to be masterworked or infused. at this stage people should still be trying to find sets of gear with perks they want and trying to level, then set up your great gear as wanted, but that only makes sense..

You said ample earning, what you described is not ample, the pricing is exorbitant and the rng drops are just that... rng This is ironic to me, people wanted random rolls to expand the weapon base, but now these same people are the ones saying you should just use what ever weapon you have. The purpose of random rolls should be trying out different varieties of weapons, how is one supposed to do that if you cannot progress a weapon to its fullest potential to see how it plays. I have a full auto exp rounds Distant Relations, should I not expect to try it out with maxed range, handling and stability to see which I prefer? By your stated position, it will take 17 cores x3 to see the full potential of the weapon, not counting shards and glimmer. I thought we were encouraging variety with random rolls, seems like we are back to static rolls to me
