Bungie, not sure what’s going on over there but get it together. This reset I’ve gone up 2 light, 2. I was a 546 now I’m 548. I keep getting gear one light above or one below. Or the occasional 20 below me. Not to mention for some reason my oracle quest said it was already completed and I was unable to pick it up after reset. Saying that. My buddy has jumped 12 light levels. So this is a hit and miss system. Tired of grinding out the boring power gear drops (3x heroic stories etc) and being so disappointed I don’t want to play. The only reason my light went up at all is because I got an exotic drop from ascendant challenge. If it wasn’t for that I would be stuck at the same level. For a comparison, my buddy doesn’t do gambit, crucible or any activity outside of the bounties and weekly. I am about to hit max on gambit (3k score to go), have gotten 5 exotic drops, and have completed 2 encounters in the raid. I’m a little salty that they even have the ability to catch up to my light to be honest.
