I find i have more reasons to play now. Like im back in the good days of d1. Its not a grind anymore, just play how i want for what I want on a givem day.

Wait until the next day to buy more. Easy grind. Grind game for masterowkr cores. While doing so, each day, buy up to 3/4 cores from Spider. You’ll have plenty after awhile. I have 147 currently. Buying about 21-28 Cores a week sounds pretty good, to go along with random drops from consumables and such. Amounting most likely about 30-40 cores a week. Grind Valor and grab 10 a rank too. Enjoy that grind. Paying 2000 legendary shards for a core is only for the super greedy

LOL, there isn't even much of a grind.

I felt like that a week ago, played another day or two then decided I'd had enough. I'm now enjoying The Witcher 3, and have Divinity 2 and Dead Cells waiting.

I don't mind it as I have accepted that it is a long process, I focus on fun activities, and I am constantly feeling like I am at least progressing towards something. Before Forsaken, it felt like there was very little to work towards.

I agree about pre Forsaken, all I was working towards before Forsaken was getting all of the EP gear. However moving up a handful of power levels per week felt like I was barely progressing at all. Then to make progress I had to play things Bungies way, as an example I used to get the the Clan XP engram every week just by playing whatever activities I wanted to. Now to get it I would need to do what Bungie wants, which is more often than not complete some Crucible related challenge. That's not an improvement, that's just creating more grind while attempting to control what people do.

Understood. The clan XP is definitely a step backwards, and I don't overly enjoy the Crucible, but 5 matches per week isn't too taxing for powerful gear (at least for now). Clan XP was definitely better pre-Forsaken.

Once you hit 520 the powerful gear' from many of the activities will change from being +5 above your power level to only being +1 above, dramatically slowing progress. I believe the activities below stop awarding +5 powerful engrams at 520 and change to +1 Weekly Flashpoint + Heroic Adventure in that week's Flashpoint (Daily) Daily Heroic Story Mission (Weekly) Crucible (Weekly and Daily) Gambit (Weekly and Daily) Strikes (Daily and Weekly) Complete 20 Challenges for Ikora (Weekly) Clan XP reward and Clan Crucible, Nightfall, Raid, Gambit completions (Weekly) Iron Banner Bounties (Seasonal) The Nightfall powerful gear reward changes from +5 to +1 after 540 power is reached. After 540 the Dreaming City weekly challenges award +5 until 560 then it's down to +1. Then after 560 it's only the raid, prime and exotic engrams that can award any 'powerful gear' more than +1.
