I'm here for the exact same reason however the issue JUST started happening on version 2.0.3.0 that came out a day or two ago. Before that version, the game was rock solid for me since it's release a year ago. I'm having identical symptoms as you.
What happens is i'll be playing then game will freeze, i'll get a buzzing audio noise and then the PC eventually reboots. This issue only happens when playing Destiny. Doesn't happen playing other games so it feels like its isolated to Destiny.

I found in another support thread where the "crash_report" folder for D2 is, and I was correct in my assumption that Destiny is "losing" my graphics card. Now that 2.0.3.0 has been released, I can't play for more than 5 minutes before my entire machine goes belly-up. This is not "Destiny crashing"... my entire machine locks up, and I have to hard-reboot everything. Bungie Support, please help!
