Really don’t understand this forums weird obsession with not wanting to balance anything. As if the game is perfectly balanced as it. Let’s stop beating around the bush, the gun is too strong. “But it wasn’t a problem 3 months ago”. Yea and? We just had probably the biggest meta shift in destiny history. Just because it wasn’t a problem 12 weeks ago doesn’t mean it never needs to be looked at ever. Obviously some guns will rise and others fall. “But, but it’s an exotic” So what? Let’s not act like it’s difficult whatsoever getting the SS. It’s suffocating every other power weapon (AND exotic weapon) from being used in gambit. Which again, is the only mode they’re looking at hitting this gun at. So, really, what is all of this whining?

And when they nerf it out of existence every one will find the next weapon that one hits across the map then they will cry nerf it, so on and so on. There will always be a weapon that is the most efficient at a certain task. Remember the Gallihorn well they nerfed it because of pvp, the vex mythoclass, the Monte, thorn , truth . See a pattern here!

Instead of making a weapon or armor piece weaker or plain unusable, make other gear better so players still feel strong but have more options in the field. Edit: It seems that every time people start crying about a particular piece of gear, the nerf is pretty quick. Instead of making other things better, a knee jerk reaction nerf comes in......and that is why players get pissed. Also, people seem to want nerfs for anything that kills them more than twice... 😞

Yea yea hilarious. @Kanashimi510 but it’s not a knee jerk reaction? SS has been the undisputed king of Gambit since before forsaken even launched. 2 weeks in and nothing’s changed. Should we expect another weapon to take its place anytime soon or should we wait until 80% of all gambit loadouts run SS?
