They are rewarded... in the sense that you have a chance at a finest matterweave upon dismantling a blue weapon, which are abundant activity rewards. They guarantee a masterwork core, and I usually get one within 2 minutes of activation.

That's not exactly a good method of rewarding MW cores imo, but to each their own.

I agree. I was just saying that they technically are rewarded in the wild. I would love an increase or removal of them from infusion. I would finally be able to actually masterwork my gear.

Infusion really should just get reverted imo. I don't think the mat requirement really works either. It's just a shoehorned grind at this point.
