Constant baboon just got me banned from Competitive

My internet connection is 100% fine, after the first baboon I tested and made sure I was receiving my full download/upload speeds (1GB/1GB - dat google fiber). I tried to enter a second match and it error code baboon'd me again - when I logged back in it timed me out of competitive. What gives? Before this I'd finish a match and I'd get a "leaver" tag too, just randomly. I've never left a match on purpose, I'll see it out even if it's 2v4. If you're going to implement time-outs maybe fix your end first, ya?

  • There is more to the internet than up/down speeds. In your case is data loss between you and the host player on yours or your ISP side. You can look up error codes by doing a search for that code on Bungie.net, Destiny app or Google which will bring up a help guide. PS. You may also want to look into your NAT and Signal Latency because if you have a problem with data loss you may also have other internet issues.
