Guide on this weeks tier 4 blind well boss
Once you get to tier 4 an ogre will spawn at the back of the room.
He is shielded and will not be affected by normal means
Across the room are yellow bar enemies, Wizards, Ogres and Knights
It's your job to kill them to make them spawn orbs
Throw those orbs to damage the shield
Once the shield goes down, go ham on the big ogre
It's not rocket science people!!

Strolled into the Well for the first time out of curiosity. No idea what to do, but there’s three other 330+ guardians on station and one of them activates a tier that destroys us. The next attempt I notice that the necessary power level seems manageable. Coo! We get to the final boss and just about have him down- “Contacting Destiny Servers” Good times I tell ya. But seriously no big deal, there will be plenty more opportunities. But for a second I had the feeling that something glorious was about to happen. lol

3 RepliesI’m reading how it is better to throw the ball to each other to “charge” it and then throw it at the ogre. It’s bad enough we are playing freaking dodgeball all the time with enemies, but now we have to go play catch? This is a joke. If I want to play catch with my buddies I will go outside and play catch. These game mechanics are getting dumber by the minute.

Anyone done more then once this week and still get decent light level rewards? I did once last night got a good light boost

1 ReplyFirst all this read hard. 2nd thing is all these people saying throw the ball at each other it's not the corrupted strike. Don't do it. 3rd the adds come in PAIRS and always spawn in same spots and same order. Both adds need dead before you get the orbs. Throw at same time and start beating his ass. And last not least is if you keep damage on him the shield stays down. Did it 5 times in a row last night and it's easier than the tier 3 to kill. No movie magic here. Just alot of cry babies with opinions on something they haven't killed. We were all 540 ish and it's easy as shit

2 RepliesYou throw the Orbs to another player to prime the orb and make it stronger. Then that player can throw the orb at the boss to deal more damage to its shield.

Objective: Burn all nades, melee charges, supers, secondary, primary, and electricity connected to your console/pc allowing you to play on the boss the second he spawns and then have your console/pc shut off. Then light it on fire and forget the game.

So the second you see the Ogre.. Slap him with all the supers and heavies you have at your disposal? Got it.

7 RepliesAlso its better to throw the orbs at your teammates and then they throw them at the boss. The orbs become stronger if you pass them to someone else, im pretty sure that 1 charged orb and take down his shield while the 4 normal orbs wont take down his shield.

1 ReplyAttempted this on Tuesday and none of the adds would take damage from anyone and there were 8 of us all ranging from 520 to 550 light and was frustrating? Must have bugged. This happened an few times. Tried again last night and adds were taking damage. We were a bunch of random's no microphones and first time around we were all just running around and happened to kill the adds on the left and right, saw the orbs drop threw a couple at the Ogre and saw his shield go down. Most of us were there to see and it became clear what we had to do. We did kill him and only did a limited amount of DPS. This time we all just appeared to be in sync with each other and we all ran left and right with people swapping sides using common sense when the numbers were massively uneven. I had just got my second seed and unlocked my Sentinal damage buff shield that I had put on throughout this second encounter. We took the Ogres shield down and I immediately popped my VOG relic style shield and got right up close and after a second or two everyone clocked what I was doing and they all moved in behind using a barrage of supers, heavy, and eventually shotty and he was melted first try.

We did a T3 the other day and then the random we were with activated a T4. Everything was immune for all of us except him and he then proceeded to send us hate mail for not doing anything or contributing to damage
