Powerful gear not dropping from quests.
I completed the mission "The Oracle Engine" which specified that it would give powerful gear. Unfortunately I have been infected with low level drops it seems. I am 532 and got a 500 weapon as a reward.

Powerful engrams are dropping at current light, prime engrams working fine.

Wow they actually fixed it! They even changed the light level on improperly low light items. Thanks bungie sorry for yelling lol

Happening to me to all my powerful weekly drops have been under my light level by 20-30 points

2 RepliesSame situation here, after this week's reset, all the powerful gear dropped one light level higher than my current light level, I'm just scared to keep playing.

I did at least half of the weekly bounties yesterday and was showing as powerful gear to get 515s and I’m 535+. So I lost out on at least 5-6 powerful gear drops. I did the strike weekly and actually got a powerful engram unlike yesterday

Bungie!!! please address this! how many different posts do we need! it really ruins the experience to get off work, hop on with friends for the few strikes, etc you have time to do before bed... only to get junk rewards... im glad the game is more challenging, but this is simply not fun...

3 RepliesWorth noting is that up until this point all powerful gear drops have been functioning properly for me, and after I installed the update all my Prime and Powerful engrams drop at a ludicrously low level. Wgat us happening?

1 Replysame here, im getting drops that are either 500 ot only 1-2 above my base level..... wtf is going on.... im 524 and i should way high pwr lvl. Powerful engrams are not dropping 5 above my base level for me anymore. it stopped at 518.... do i quit... wtf do i do?

Been the case for 2 weeks. They don’t care about it because it doesn’t happen to everyone to they think it’s our fault lol

Even the Flashpoint reward for my Titan dropped 15 lower than anything I had equipped. Gambit drop was good though. Maybe another hint they want us to play more PvP, just in case we didn't notice the Clan challenges this week.

I’d be real disappointed if Bungie doesn’t do something to correct this. Grinding for the raid is hard enough as it is. Edit: I actually see that the offering reward is just a legendary engram not a powerful one.

Same here. No powerful loot from bounty or chest. Same with my clan mate. Has bungie said anything about this yet?

Same thing just happened to me. Turned in the "Audience with the queen" bounty that says "Powerful Gear" and just got a 519 helmet. My character is 540. The item wasn't even the same level as my blues, which are dropping above 520. 100% glitch.

Petra’s powerful engram bounties and quests are impacted. My clan and I saw that the rest of the world is dropping the powerful engrams at the appropriate levels. Bungie, this is a huge defect. You make this hard raid and establish a hard grind and then you don’t test your patches effectively. You have to do better as Petra is the most effective way to progress in power level.

Same here since reset. Iron banner, Crucible, Heroic mission and flashpoint. Everything dropped 20 levels below.
