They exist, bungie made them more rare to add excitement and add actual exotic feel to the weapons/armor.

There’s nothing exciting about putting in 50+ hours of gameplay to get a duplicate.

I never got an exotic until Dark Below in D1. The current Exotic system is 100x more rewarding than back then

Cool. Being vaguely better than garbage isn’t exactly where you want to be when you’re making a reward system.

All I’m getting from you really is: “I’m too lazy and impatient and I want my exotics handed to me.” It’s a good thing that Exotics are rare because they now feel more special and you can get a sense of accomplishment and excitement when you finally get what you want. I’ll personally be super happy when I get Lord of Wolves as a drop.

All I’m getting from you is “I’m enough of a dumbass to pretend I know anything about who I’m talking to.” There’s literally nothing exciting about putting in days worth of hours just to get an old, garbage exotic.

I agree about the duplicates, personally I think you shouldn’t get a duplicate until you have all the exotics. ( out of the 4 I’ve gotten to drop only 1 has been new ) It would make the grind less disheartening.
