So my prime attunement never goes away...
I’ve had this buff since Forsaken launch and haven’t lost it yet.
I’m not farming prime engrams, as soon as I get one I decrypt it but the buff stays. Bungie stated that the buff should only be good for one prime engram and after you pick one up the buff goes away.
I’m worried I’m messing up future drops but the buff just stays on my character for some reason.

I think the buffs stack, actually. If, for example, you don't get any primes to drop one day, you get 2 buffs the next. That's how it seems to work, at least.

Think it back logs honestly like don't play for a week log in after 7 days should get 7 before it drops off just my speculation though

2 RepliesWhat they said was you have the buff and once you get a drop it has a cool down period before activating again. I don't think we lose it all together. The scammers were getting the drops and not picking them up which never started the cool down cycle. Once they decode them the cool downs will stack and they will go days and days without.

The buff resers daily you dont have to worry about thinking its a grind

It's the people who farm a dude multiple times in a strike, make a big pile of Prime engrams to pick up, then grab them all in one go that will have consequences. There doesn't seem to be an exact definite answer, but I know that the system in place is supposed to up the chances of getting one the longer someone goes without getting one. What they should do is only have the buff appear at the highest posdible chance since having it on all the time looks weird. There are people saying that it should go away once you pick one up. We should all know at this point that is completely false. There's someone saying it's a 24 buff. Same. Bullocks. As long as you aren't doing the exploit mentioned earlier, you are fine.

5 RepliesYou are, but as long as you are not farming you will be fine. Its when people get 7, then the rng becomes abysmaly low for the next 7 days. Also Keeping them unencrypted will drop 7 at the same light as opposed to incremental light increases. As long as you decrypt as soon as you get one youll be fine.

Lol the loss of prime engrams was a threat. Bungie lied about the engram pool thing. Nothing to worry.
