Boar error code
Can’t get in. Get error code BOAR says corrupt uninstall and reinstall. The update seems to be the problem. I uninstalled Forsaken and reinstalled it but still can’t get in. I see an update appear then get the message. Is there a way to uninstall the last update and reinstall it ??? Was working fine this morning ☹️
If I uninstall and reinstall the whole game will I lose my 3 characters ???
Will I be where I was at this morning ???

I’ve had this problem as well for about two hours and recently fixed it. If you can, try connecting to your mobile hotspot and load Destiny. That’s what fixed it for me.

Had this problem all day yesterday. What worked for me was uninstalling all Forsaken related content. Then the game booted up, downloaded a super quick update and worked. After I was able to login I went and reinstalled all Forsaken content and now its all fine. I feel there was an updated that was conflicting with Forsaken cause I could see a quick blip of it trying to download before it gave me the error every time. What a pain though cause I totally reinstalled all D2 items all day to not have it fix the problem until I did what I did above. Grrrrrrr

2 RepliesHere in Colorado, 1544 on 16 September 2018. Boar Error Code Tried clearing cache. Still get the Boar Code. Will attempt to sign out, shut down xbox and clear cache again then report back.

I have been getting this error for about half an hour. Someone told me he gets the same thing when there is an update but I am not sure what is going on...

Had the same issue for over an hour on XboxOne. I uninstalled/reinstalled, tried removing only dlc. With the game running I held the power button (hard reset...) and then turned it back on after 2 minutes. I’m in now... hope that works for others!

Same here it’s been happening to me since a little before 2pm CST. I have tried every recommendation out there and currently reinstalling the game but still no luck yet. Glad to hear it wasn’t just me.

I just tried what BJBJet recommended and it worked on my 4th attempt. After getting the error code and it sends you back, just keep reloading it. Hopefully you did not do what I did because now I’m waiting for destiny to reinstall. Hope that works for everyone.

If you are still having this issue try what BJBJet recommended. After getting the error code and it sends you back just keep reloading it. It worked on my 4th attempt. Just don’t do what I did cause now I’m waiting for destiny to reinstall.

2 RepliesSame issue here, I even uninstalled everything including expansion packs and still getting get that error. Cleared cache, hard reboot, nothing fixed that problem. Ever since the latest update I have been getting BOAR error. My Xbox is hardwired , Gigabyte connection this is so annoying .

1 Reply5:16 CST, i was getting this error over and over, trying to load in game as recommended. I didn't try the uninstall/reinstall, however, i did unplug, completely disconnect power from xbox by unplugging from the xbox console (not the plug into the wall) and this worked for me - apparently this clears cache.

I’m having the same iissue on Xbox. I tried to keep reloading to see if I could get in I couldn’t. Uninstalled the dlcs and re downloaded them didn’t work. Now I signed out hard reset and unplugged power cord I’m going to see if that will work. Not sure why no one from the Bungie help center is seeing all these people talking about this
