Are pre-orders that low that Bungie had to lock a subclass behind a raid? I knew Bungie was hurting but I didn't think it was that bad.

They are not hurting in fact they are well off. A investor from Japan invested 100mil into bungie. The problem is when a code gets changed or a new one implemented it breaks other codes.

It is a Chinese Company that invested in Bungie for a future project.

I guess later is better than never, but this shouldn't have been a topic at all. Bungie should have known better by now knowing it's 4 years later.

True but i think its not big of a deal. Unless we are all stuck on the : "we are entitled to get everything as soon as possible with little effort what so ever because we paid for the game" Again, i clarify. I do agree that subclasses should not require ( Im not using the word locked ) any endgame content, pve or pvp. I would have just made it more simple, some simple semi-story related quest and called it a day. As why bungie initially used the raid? Maybe to promote it and to give it more weight? Im not saying its a right call or anything just trying to figure out the rationale. In my case i dont mind. Its a game i dont have as much time to play as when i was younger. But it is my case so i understand that youngsters and older people that somehow manage to invest more hours than me may feel a bit frustrated about it. Id say lets not make a big deal out of this, lets just wait for the new means to get the new seed light. Its not even a month since forsaken launched.

I guess you're the kind that would openly advocate for the locking of all abilities and all legendary gear behind the raids if you wouldn't get laughed off for it.

I actually like crucible better than raiding but if there is something I want from a raid then I’ll get gud and do it and not rant about it in a forum.
