Solstice Armor Needs Random Perks
I don’t understand why Bungie would create an event that rewards armor, which required a massive grind to get, only to have it become obsolete a week after the event ends. It’s disappointing and should have been updated for Forsaken.

But you knew this ahead of time. Its exactly why i skipped the event. They said all year one obtained gear stays in year 1.

-EVERYTHING in Collections (including new Forsaken gear) should have "default" perks...making EVERYTHING re-acquirable from Collections -ANY item (including year 1 gear) that drops as a reward should have a random roll -dont like the "default" perks or the random roll you got?...Fully MASTERWORK the item to unlock the ability to RE-ROLL its perks (costing Masterwork Cores for each re-roll) it's 2018...how is this not a thing???

Agreed. We worked our asses off to get the armor, the color effects, AND the masterwork requirements. All just to be made mod-obselete a week later. DO THIS BUNGIE.

Agreed. People can argue all they want about whether year 1 stuff should've been updated, but any logical human being can tell you that the Solstice stuff required way too much work to be thrown in the garbage that quickly.

Agreed. Trying to get the set turned me away from Destiny for a moment. I couldn't take it, felt like I was doing a chore list my mom gave me. IB saved it. Smh

I kind of feel dumb for going through that grind. I didn't believe those nay-sayers that said this would happen. 😞

I actually just posted about this. I agree it was a hell of a grind for an armor set you barely got to enjoy. I understand that bungie is trying to promote the grind for year two stuff but this came out right before forsaken. Hell they can make the perks fixed just make it a viable option for those of us who did the work to get it
