lol with the current infusion costs I'll just stop playing the game once gear ups drop to +1
plenty of other games to play, this game acts like we have nothing else to do

thats the point of the people who complained about the previous system, how everyone got exotics too easily and how the exotic engrams were always 5 over your level until the hard cap. the people who dont play anything else, and have time to play the game all the time, complained loudest. now we have the other side complaining that we have to play destiny like a second job to get anywhere, and that infusing the gear you already have is too expensive, cores too expensive... the point of that was to make people drop their tried and tested loadout and try the new gear and weapons that drop. if once you have done that (like my hunter) you still want to use crimson and lucky pants, then when you get over 500 you do the infusing and it doesnt eat up your masterwork cores so fast that way. it also gives reasons to keep playing - unlike the complete nerfs unless you raid which came with warmind (another thing the elitists yelled for, but which i guess bungie found players like me who actually are crucial to support the game contimuing began just logging in tuesday, making no progress and then not even logging in tuesdays...)

Infuse the same gear into itself when you get s higher light version. Only costs glimmer- no materials.

If that was only as easy as you make it sound buddy. I DREAM of getting all the drops I want instead of full RNG slot machines.

Same gear, different perks, infuse with higher. It happens sooner than you think. Also, you can change perks on exotic armor by getting one from collections, then infusing same exotic- also for glimmer only. Collections scale up with your light level, so you can keep trading out the ones you like periodically until you get the perks you like.

Well I like hand cannons but have only gotten 1 to drop so far. It’s like 430 something and not a single HC has dropped since then. Much less the same version.

To be fair, if you are getting 430 drops, then you are very early in the game. No need to infuse ANYTHING at that level.

But I’m 507 now and haven’t gotten a hand cannon since. That’s my point.

I noticed, but I’ve only ever gotten duplicates at higher levels on GLs and Sidearms so far...
