I'm glad that Bungie deactivated the chest quickly before more users were able to get more raid items in an unintentionally way, but not punishing the player which leveled several characters just to get the full warlock set, is in my opinion a wrong move.
This type of behavior from Bungie encourages using exploits in PvE. If Blizzard would be here, instead of Bungie, the player would be banned for sure for 1-2 weeks from the raid with his warlock. He would be able to play the raid 2 weeks after the release with his warlock again but won't able to play it on release, as punishment for his exploiting.
He allready got a full armor set, that is (with lucky rng) 1,5 weeks in reset time.
Am I the only one who wants people punished for using exploits in online games, even if it is just pve?
Edit: I think I have to clear things out.
First, my opinion has nothing to do with "mind your own buisness", that's just a lame excuse for not caring about the amount of time others have to spend to get a full armor set and 3 raid weapons on one single char fron the Raid. You know, this guy exploited the loot of around 4 weeks in less than 2-3 days.
How can you argue with "do nt care about it"? It is just unfair, that people can exploit for advantages without consequences. I say, ban his warlock for 2-3 weeks. That's still better than removing his items from his inventory.
I'm even not the only one who hate it. There are people in the worldwide Destiny community which are even more upset then me:

2 RepliesQuite honestly if it isn’t breaking the game then why does it matter? If your answer is “they haven’t earned it” then you’re right. No one would technically earn it. For one the stuff usually drops lower than your light. (So no light increase exploit). Secondly it’s one of those chests that doesn’t require you to do an encounter. All you have to do is get to that point and jump to that ledge. So while people who went underneath the map didn’t earn it, people who start the raid technically don’t “earn” the stuff from that chest either.
