Oh also, don't invade if you haven't deposited your modes, also, deposit your motes before you're murdered by an invader, pay attention to the enemy teams potential motes, because they can invade at set times. A common strategy is for the enemy team to wait for you to have a lot of potential motes, then invade and wipe you, causing you to essentially lose the round because you didn't deposit them earlier. Getting ogres is great and all, but its better to get a medium blocker and not lose motes than lose 14 motes because you were killed before you could snag the last one.

It hurts when I see multiple teammates running around with 10+ notes when the enemies invasion portal is active.

yeah, it makes me anxious. Especially when everyone is spread out. Because too many times have I seen each of them die one by one while I'm trying to shoot the invader but they have their back to him/her. This only really happens in PUGs or matchmade groups with blueberries because there is a communication barrier. But having situational awareness is more necessary in Gambit than nearly every other aspect of the game.

Couldn’t agree more, but I guess people still haven’t realized that the large blockers just aren’t worth it, way better to have an army of small or mediums

Smalls are actually better than people give them credit for, because they're phalanxes and can block. Ogres are actually really useful, but only if ONE person can specifically bank 15 motes and deposit them quickly, rather than everyone trying to go for 15.
