Hey there,
Thank you for your report.
UPDATE: We are investigating issues retaining the Offering of the Oracle in inventories. To avoid this, players should log into all characters in Destiny 2, or log into the Destiny Companion app before acquiring the item. Players should make sure their Consumable Inventory is not full.

Its a possibility, but since they only mention the accidental early reset Its unlikely they'll do anything. If we could only get an actual response to our question, that would be appreciated. I doubt we'll get a response since the forum admin marked this post as "ANSWERED" which it certainly is not. The old log into all characters or the companion app response has never helped me. Not sure if its helped anyone else. @BNGHelp6

This advice is far too late and not even in game, my offering glitched out about 20 hours ago, and no update to suggest we may have a reset bounty, come on bungie, sort it freaking out!

Same issue. Offering was in my inventory with plenty of inventory space remaining. Had to log for the day. Today the offering is gone

Here's how I lost mine... I completed the bounty on my 1st character, received the offering, but I never turned it in. Went on my 2nd character, finished the bounty, and did NOT receive a 2nd offering BECAUSE I ALREADY HAD ONE IN MY INVENTORY. So apparently the Oracle offering does not stack, and thats how I lost mine. I have a suggestion for a fix. When you release the hotfix later this week. Allow us to complete the bounty again. It wouldn't break the economy seeing as the actual item you receive for the offering is not powerful. Only the Petra weekly is. Which I'd hate to miss out on the best awards currently available. Got the offering on my second character, except now no weekly activities are giving me powerful gear. This is a serious issue and its extremely disconcerting. The raid releases Friday and a lot of people aren't going to be able to even try it because they lack the power requirement.

Same here. When I finished the bounty and received the offering I checked my inventory and confirmed that I acquired it. I noticed it was missing after I joined some friends.

@BNGhelp6 The exact same thing happened to me. Completed the bounty, went to turn the offering in and it was gone. My inventory was not full. This is super frustrating. It makes it not worth putting effort in when all the hard work just goes down the drain and Bungie does not seem to care enough to rectify the issue.

I made a post about this as well. After getting the Offering from the bounty, I went into orbit to open a prime engram. When I returned the the Dreaming City, the offering was no longer in my inventory. My inventory did have plenty of space as well.

Redeemed my bounty and confirmed that the offering was in my inventory, not just that it popped up on screen, but that it was there in my consumables, it was. Left the room for two minutes to get a drink, came back to the game which was still on my inventory screen and the offering was just gone. I did not fast travel, switch characters, complete any other bounty or activities, i did not even move my character from the spot i was in when i redeemed the bounty. It was just gone. I am on ps4.

Had this happen to me too saw it pop up confirmed it then when I left the blind well it had vanished I'm on pc and my inventory isn't even full.

On Xbox Inventory Not Full Completed Bounty and got the offereing I did one more Tier 3 with a failure Left the Blind Well place on foot Fast Travel near offering area No offering in inventory when I went to present Note: Not sure if this matters, but I did have Tier 1, 2, and 3 Charge of Lights all maxed out at 5 in my inventory at the time. That will be powerful engram #4 I can't get now since launch (with this bug and Reset Bug on Saturday)

Can confirm that this has also happened to me on PS4. I completed the associated bounty and redeemed it while in the Dreaming City @ Blind Well, got the drop notification. I skimmed past so I'm not sure if it went to inventory properly (there was space for it). Hadn't noticed that my Offering was missing until after I left the Dreaming City and returned. I then noticed that I was now getting 2 Dark Fragments instead of 1 for doing any patrol mission (not a stack of 2, but two drops of 1 each). Went on to do a Corsair Down bounty, then went to Watchtower to try and redeem Offering where I noticed that it was gone. To clarify; I started getting the 2 Dark Fragment bug after I returned to Dreaming City, before completing Corsair Down bounty. Really disheartening stuff, and on raid week too! Would be great to see some kind of resolution for the people that have lost Offerings so far. Hope this report helps you crack the bug at least.

Same happened to me. Went to the tower to turn in a prime engram first came back and went to the oracle and it was gone. Happened on PS4.
