I've had 3 exotics since Forsaken, 1 old one - and 2 new ones. Anybody can look at my game history and see I'm not a no-lifer by any means. Here's a tip... use Fireteam medallions and run public events. It's almost garaunteed you'll get one in that 4 hours. So many people fail to see the value of these things, but they DO make a difference. I don't play without one active, and I refuse to spend dust on anything but them - which is probably why I'm not facing these "horrible" drop rates everybody else is. Three of Coins might be gone - Fireteam Medallions aren't, and are a tried and true strategy for exotic hunting. Honestly the only times I DONT get an exotic per medallion is if I waste my medallion and start doing less rewarding activities like Story/Raid/Strikes. (By less rewarding I just mean you are getting chests slower in these activities. Hence why Public Events are king) EDIT: lol asif people are gonna downvote the information that will help them get more exotics. -blam!-ing idiots who play this game.
