Cayde's will (If you hate hand cannons)

What's the best hand cannon for a hand cannon noob to help with this quest line? I'm not a fan of these weapons so need a decent one. Maybe a faster fire rate or bigger range?

Gandhi 2

Crimson is a great HC, and handles a lot like a pulse rifle so it’s likely your best shot
