Fix the exotics this patch.
There’s no point in playing a game if you get no reward. And it’s just humiliating when your friends are getting new stuff left and right and you’re sitting there with a couple dozen Edge Transits to show for all your hard work and time. This game isn’t fun anymore. Bungie made a stellar expansion, great new strikes, fantastic new story, raid seems like it’s gonna be great, but. It wouldn’t be a bungie expansion unless they ruined something. And of course it would be one of the few things Destiny has on other FPS games. The gear. You’re just telling me if I put all my time into this game, I’m NOT going to receive anything? Like, I’ve played all day every day since Forsakens launch, and I’ve received one exotic. Sweet Business. Meanwhile, my friends are receiving exotics every second mission. Why would I play a game where I don’t receive anything for my effort? I wouldn’t. Fix your shit, Bungie. Stop making stupid ass decisions.

There's nothing to fix. This is how exotics should work, they are SUPPOSED to be rare. Not handed out every other public event.

I agree this is ridiculous with the amount of time you need to shovel in the worst part are the destiny fanboys who think they are right when they are actually wrong grinding is suppose to be rewarding not worthless I shouldn't feel like I am wasting my time playing a game I should feel rewarded for dumping hours in to a game even if it's not the exotic I want in particular if their was no chance of getting the same exotic twice then cool fine but even after days of grinding I got a -blam!-ing sweet business

Also judging exotic drop rates as a way to say this game is not worth it for no reward you are so full of it. One character at 515 and one at 517 you aren't exactly lacking and if you are just infuse an exotic from year 1 some are just as good. Unless you are a sweaty PvP then I don't feel bad.

Brother you're being rewarded playing this masterpiece. Nothing ever earned was easy. The game is in a good state with a few obstacles to go, but giving out everything isn't going to teach anything to anyone. Continue to increase your light level and you'll start to see more drops. 520 is the hot spot for exotic drops.

Last couple of years it's been too easy to get Exotics......the set up now is fine by me. I've just had one drop...it's no problem.

8 Replies1. Exotics are not the only reward in this game. Many of the new legendaries are quite good as well. Give them a shot. 2. I think you are exaggerating a tad. You can't say exotics aren't dropping and then claim your friends are getting them every second mission. Exotics should be a rare drop. That's what makes them worthwhile. Stop worrying about how few exotics you've gotten, play the game because it's fun and you'll get your exotics in due time.
