PVP Matchmaking is an absolute joke.
I am beyond sick and -blam!-ing tired of being teamed up with people that haven't got a clue on how to play the game and going against people that are extremely good. You're matchmaking formula is -blam!-ing pathetic. Im always in the margin of 30 kills with a 3 kda whilst the next guy on my team has half of that with a 1.2 kda and the next 4 people having not even double digit kills while the enemy team has a consistent 20 - 25 - 30 kills. I wouldn't care if this was happening every now and then but this is almost every single match. I am not a -blam!-ing pvp god here to carry a -blam!-ing team of people to victory, maybe i just want to have a nice enjoyable and tense match where both teams are balanced and have good and bad players. Instead of being put on a -blam!-ing team that almost intentionally gets farmed.

Something for everyone to think about is another possibility of why matchmaking is so schizophrenic is of the millions of people who have purchased the game only tens of thousands or even less may be playing PVP at a given time. To me this would help explain why one team has KTD between 2 to 5.0 and the other team has 1 player with a KTD of 3.0+ and the rest of his team has a KTD of .7 or lower. It’s going to be hard to matchmake a game if few players per round actually have similarities in stats other then they have the same ship equipped as another teammate. My kids have had this gripe since D1 and are way better in PVP but now almost won’t play PVP anymore due to not being able to carry a whole team of negatives they are teamed with in consecutive rounds. Only BUNGIE knows the true numbers but really hope they can fix it in a way better for you, players like you and PVE players like me.

Looking at your match history you have about a 50% win rate. Seems balanced to me. You said you want a team of good and bad players just have to accept you're the good one lol

3 RepliesHold on tiger, in the last 24 hours you had 2 games in which you were at the 30+ kill margin and had a 1.39 and 2.07 kda - so, neither of those are 3. Nor were any of your other matches. Next you won one of those matches and lost one, not a bad percentage. So change your depends and try again.

2 RepliesThis is so very true. In 8/10 if not more of comp games i come first with my team, and the others barely get half my kills with a lower KD. I do not find that a problem, but what happens is that my team is faced against a four stack or players who are better than my team mates. Its absolutely shit feeling to always have to pull the weight of others almost all the god-damn time. I just wish that teams were fairly balanced. Its absolute shit when you are possibly the best player of all the 8 guardians in the game but loose because your team mates did jack shit while the enemy is surprisingly well co-ordinated.

Edited by N7-W4R: 9/10/2018 4:16:39 AMI think Bungie should look into changing their competitive lost streaks you shouldn't lose points every match you lose a game especially if don't run a 4 stack or have a team of 4, bad internet connections and ddosing play a way to crucial role in losing points this is not the faults of players that get kicked out of the lobbies do to Bungie not having dedicated servers. Instead of losing every match and getting ducted points from it, have them lose points on the fifth loss only, this makes it a better experience to recover points lost over time and less rage quitting and having the team suffer for one player that got pissed off and left.
