Purification Ritual
Does anyone have any idea how to defeat a Plague of the well while ascendent?
Ran several blind well levels while ascendent and killed several white enemies and bosses to no luck.
Any tips would be great!

5 RepliesEdited by Ship: 9/9/2018 12:57:31 AMYou have to kill the 3 bosses that spawn in the teir 3 blind well I believe. As those are the only enemies actually called "Plague of the Well". The rest are Servants or etc.

4 RepliesYo. I encountered a taken ogre in the area north of where petra is along with 3 yellow bar wizards named plague of the well a few days ago. I do not know how to trigger it and alone it was impossible. When you defeat wizards they drop these cores that you can throw at the ogre (kinda like wotm). It's on the bridge that leads toward where the skulls that you can purchase tinctures are. Sorry if that's vague but at the time I had no idea what it was

2 RepliesFor the purification ritual u have to kill the big knights in the ascendant realm, best way to kill them is with Whisper+catalyst, u can do it solo

4 RepliesWhat you gotta do is go through one of the lost sectors to the end. I wish I could remember which one. It’s not the one behind where you spawn and it’s not the stars one if that helps. Anyway you get to the end and use a tincture to become ascendant. A portal will be revealed. Jump through it and you’ll be in that other world. This is where you kill the knights. They are very strong. You can kinda cheese it. As soon as you spawn there’s a tree off to your left I think. You can jump on to it and the knights shouldn’t notice you but you can just hit them from afar. Four should spawn and once you kill them you complete the quest. Secondly in that area there are 4 blights you can destroy which then allow you to destroy all the crystals you’ll see in that room. You get a chest I believe and I think this may be part of a bounty possibly. Hope this helps.

1 ReplyI'm at where you need to kill knights and the hidden strike. My theory about the knights though is that you need to kill those yellow bar knights from the challenge in the list sector below petra. Haven't tried it yet but that's what I'm thinking

I'm watching YouTube and others are getting some kind of strike that they need to complete, but they can't find it. Perhaps the plagues that we are having to kill are not there? We are killing heralds of the plague but not a plague itself.

You have to beat tier 3 of the Blind Well and kill one of the bosses at the end. For some people it's bugged and you can get it early.

From what I can tell, the Plague of the Well may refer to whatever it is the Unstable Charge does. I haven't been able to find out what that does, and it's the only other thing relating to the Well.

Edited by VailedDouble gg: 9/6/2018 7:24:09 AMNot sure how much this relates to it, but I've also completed multiple runs while ascendent for this quest and have had nothing happen (Tier 1 and 2). During the last run I had time for, the ascendence ran out before the boss was unlocked (Tier 1). So I used another thing as soon as the boss appeared and we defeated it. I opened the rewards chest and I got an emblem called Secret Victories ("This emblem tracks the number of Ascendent challenges you've completed in Dreaming City") and a customization for it called Drink at the Well ("Can be found as a rare drop after you defeat any Plague of the Well"). I'm not sure if the emblem itself dropped because of how I used the item or if it was just sheer luck. It also says that I've completed 0 Ascendent challenges.
