Exotic drop lowered?
Played forsaken just about all day and did not get a single exotic, other than the chaperone from the quest. Not sure if it’s just my awful luck or not but before the season 4 update i recall getting quite a few exotics from powerful engrams the all of a sudden nothing... seems odd

Two exotic drops. Both old y1 items and lower power level than the gear that was equipped. That was with two characters through the story. Only nightfall high score left on Titan and some weekly powerful left on the hunter. 50+ hours in four days and nothing to show for it. Tells me I’m putting this game away for good. I’m done having my time wasted by a video game developer who does not respect the players time invested into their game.

For those of you saying " we were spoiled in y1" or "exotics need to be rare" I have done the story on a character on 2 different xbox accounts, opened up 40+ powerful engrams, and both of them are 520, not ONE exotic, to me, that's a liiittlllle extreme

I got the sword through a drop on the first day of playing Forsaken, so I guess I'm just lucky

This is what happens when a small but vocal segment of the community uses their platforms and access to push the hyperbolic narrative that gear (or Exotics in this case) are too “easy” to get. In the end, I’m sure Bungo will adjust the drop rate but of course that’ll mean nothing to you as those hours you wasted mean nothing if you’re playing less going forward.

Yeah, which super sucks for newer players hoping to get their hands on the y1 exotics still. If I had all the others I wouldn't mind the lowered drops as much, it'd even be interesting. Instead I have a hunter and a Warlock with only 1 exotic armor piece each cuz I was grinding on my titan main for crimson 😂😥😖

I had the Helm of Saint 14 drop from a legendary at the crytarch. So far, that’s the only exotic I’ve received.

We were spoiled in Y1 exotics need to be rare that's the real definition of exotic.

Seems that way. Got a few hours in and nothing, but no complaints. They should be rare.

Yer looks like it and that's a good thing! Exotics should be super rare not dropping at every powerful engram. I got my first today from killing the primeval in gambit. Titan in most light chest piece and it's really good!

It's super low I've only gotten the Cerberus +1 which is an interesting gun to say the least but nothing else.

Defiantly lowered, have ranked 1 character to 50 and 508light, done every powerful engram drop except gambit armour, completed all spider bounty and more yet not a single exotic. This includes over 80 various rank up packs and 25 gunsmith rank ups also

I like that they are more exotic actually now. Rare to find and hard to get.

Good. Back to D1 where exotics were more rare and special to have instead of handed to you
