During the first mission (second-part) of the Forsaken DLC, there is an immune vent-door glitch that forces you to go back to orbit and back into the mission.
-
Why is this still a bug in Fed 2022? 🙃
-
Edited by OtterChaos: 1/26/2022 8:14:47 PMStill there, guess they decided not to fix it since they are vaulting. Have to let the enemies come out of the vents and target you before killing.
-
Just happened to me as well. I’ve restarted it twice trying to get down that vent.
-
Just here to say...the bug is still a thing...just happened to me
-
I can guarantee this is still present in November 2021 I’m using vex and I guess I did it tooo damn fast
-
it still here Huckleberry man
-
Just did this mission, can confirm still there
-
It's 2021 and this big is still here lmao

1 ReplyEdited by Pax: 8/6/2021 12:04:06 AMStill here as of August 2021. EDIT: *SPOILERS AHEAD* To provide some useful debug information- the bug occurs when you defeat the first major group of fallen after the ***SPOILER ALERT***
first cinematic of Cayde getting beat up
down in the tunnels. The vent which blocks physical advancement remains immune after all enemies are dead if you kill them all too quick; my guess is that the advancement trigger is conditioned on all the enemies being dead, or a certain amount of time has passed. You might want to check the trigger conditions to ensure there's correct logic for enemy elimination before the time gate is up.

still active as of june 2021 lmao. killed them too fast with huckleberry :(

-
Welp never thought I would get to see a 2+ year old glitch still work but I managed. Killed the enemies too quick and the vent didn’t blow off and I’m stuck have to restart the mission. Glad this thread is here though lol
-
Glitch is still alive today
-
Just happened to me today!!!!!
-
1 ReplyYup. Same. The vent/door in the room with all the first during “Rescue Cayde: Search the lower level of the prison of elders for Cayde-6” is immune to damage from me and I cannot open it. I killed the guys in the room and that busted out of the walls before they could complete the animation to break through the grate to open the way to the next waypoint. Now I have to return to orbit and try again
-
Glitch is still active as of 5 January 2020.
-
1 ReplyGlitch is still here.
-
It is still active, just got it
-
Same here. The bug is still alive --'
-
If it's the one I'm currently at right now...it's because I killed the Scorn that were suppose to break through it and flee. Note to self: Don't through a pulse grenade anywhere near the vent. And no, suicide doesn't fix it...the NPCs have to be the ones to destroy it.
-
I had no issues on my hunter when forsaken went live. Now I wanted to go through the forsaken dlc with my newly made warlock and have the exact same issue.
-
Same thing happened to me still even after the latest patch
-
Yep I have the same glitch. Once these new scum bags dropped I tossed a grenade to kill them. Door/vent looking thing won’t open. I hit it with everything I have and says immune. I see a vent above me the glows when scanned. I blew it up but it doesn’t seem to do anything after that

7 RepliesHi there, Thank you for your report. Could you explain in more detail about this? If you can provide a video, it would help in an investigation.
-
1 ReplyWe couldn’t save Cayde because of a broken door.🤣
-
1 ReplyI have the same glitch
